Not sure why, but flying from SF to STL, everything was easy peasy. TSA looked thru our bags in our presence, got to STL and everything was good.
Coming home though, TSA at STL had to go thru my buddys bag, and said mine were fine. No need to go thru them. Well i get home and unpack everything and find a notice that TSA had searched my bags. Everything was there, but in much more of a mess then i had packed. Of course the guns were in a hard sided, locked case that they had no key to, but still......
Only thing i can figure is that they wanted to look at the ammo, which was the leftovers from the match. Tightly taped shut in the plastic Dillon ammo cases i was bringing back.

The morning of a match, the only automatic stop for me is Starbucks. Not for coffee, but for two slices of banana nut bread to go in the range bag. It isn't too filling, but still meets the need for something when the belly gets the mid-day yearnings.

I didn't change my springs out till they started rusting real bad and that was still after trying to keep them clean after rain matches. They went about two years in all kinds of weather till i swapped em out. Wasn't having any problems, but just wanted to do it before i did have problems.

I just stick with Bullseye since it's cheap, always available, meters fine in the Dillon and i've just never had any problems with it.
People say it's dirtier than most, but the guns get cleaned anyway.

Wilson 47D Extended base pad work great with LSWCs. I would think any of the above suggestions would be fine for round nose bullets though.

All i can say for sure after talking to Steve on the phone, is we shoot all day sat and finish up sun a.m.
I'm arriving thurs nite and going over fri a.m. to check in and get my "packet".
If, as someone posted above, the shooters meeting is at 7:00 sat a.m., and we start shooting at 7:30, i doubt there is much time to do sign ins that morning.
Anybody with past experience at this match, feel free to add your 2 cents?

Just sent mine in today and sounds like the match is nearly full.
Looking forward to shooting in it.
