  1. I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction, I need a design for a sighting in bench suitable for 4 shooters. Does anyone know where I can get a plan. Thanks Bill

These are the blokes who Push on the doors marked Pull , Pull on the doors marked Push , and break their fingernails on the doors marked Lift.

    Feelin' Lucky?

Yeah, I heard those pilots got a lot of Pussey.
  4. Last time I was in the States my bag was bulging on the way home and the last couple of times I have got brass from John, I got him to sent to my daughter in Denver and she carried a lot home for, last xmas John forgot my order till it was too late and she left Denver a couple of hours before the brass arrived. She posted it at $55 thats surface and can take 3 months (I think the US postal service still uses wooden ships and big sails) Bill
  5. John at the Brass Man is very good, the Brass is cheap but 1000 once fired cases costs over $50 in postage, it weighs about 10lb. SO! Hell yes I pick it up and use it and use it and use it etc.

    car scam

You cant find them because shes round at my place doing the front windows,,,,,there seems to be a truck at the back door,,,I must find time to go and look later.
  7. Troy, No Mate, it doesnt matter if its 3 gun or whatever as long as you dont touch the gun and carefully turn the case around before you put you hands on it your ok. Of course if you do touch it, then its time to go home as in touching a dropped gun etc and pointing up range etc. The answer to the question of where the gun in the holster points within the course of fire has been covered by the GURU ...Vinnie,, and the answer is ..as soon as the buzzer goes, draw gun or risk a DQ if you move while its in the holster because its only in open class where the bloody thing is strapped to your front that it will not point backwards at some point in the movement (try it with a rod in the barrel). Bill
  8. Jim, "Creeping" is when your about 16 and trying to sneak your arm along the top of the couch and around her shoulders. "False Start" is when you finally got the arm around, and bugger it, your pants go all wet in the front.
  9. You do realise that the only one who could have answered with such tactfull honesty would have been Vinnie, it must have been his site.
  10. WHAT GARY SAID, (Most sensible comment from both forums) Bill
  11. Detlef, A Bloke is the opposite of a Sheila and whereas a Bloke can be a Cobber we tend to marry the Sheilas, I understand that in some parts of the world (europe in particular) its ok for Blokes to Marry Cobbers, It might even be compulsary in England. The problem with the Crony was that they must have been feeding in the wrong bullet weights i think, the fact is that they didnt know what they were doing did not appear to want to learn so we just shut up and moved along, from now on i will be checking that the ammo is kept in the shade. Still its not a bad power factor for a Production Div Glock. Bill
  12. Is there a rule regarding the treatment of ammo taken for Crony. At our last nationals there were two well meaning blokes who took 8 rounds of everyone (except a couple of us who were shooting when they came round), the ammo was put in little plastic bags and laid on the concrete beside the crony, temp was about 26 cent (thats just over 70 f) and not a cloud in the sky, you coulnt pick them up, they were hot hot hot. Now believe it or not every one eventually qualified for p/f. As I had not had ammo taken I just said take them from wherever you like and they took some from my belt and some from the bag...I came in at 216p/f and quite a few blokes were well over that, Now I was shooting a Glock 22 in Production, loaded down to a comfortable 136 p/f which shot good and worked the std spring. And needless to say was flabergasted (good word that) but as range staff always knows best shut up and went away. Anyway, is there a rule rule regarding how the ammo is treated once its passed over to the range staff, some of the powder we can get here is a bit temp sensitive and its a piss off if the let it heat up, some times its not the powder so much as the air in the case that heats up and effects the "bang",. Bill
  13. Hey Vince, Just pick up your toys and get back in the cot, and Jim, stop proding him with a sharp stick you know hes a sensitive soul. Seriously guys i've really enjoyed the cut and thrust but its time for the old goodwill to all things and i wish you all a merry xmas etc. Bill
  14. Hi Guys, Just to go back to Jim Normans post on 8/12/05. Is there a new rule that won't allow the RO to tell a shooter he is in the wrong position to start, I was unaware of this rule and thought that the RO had to ensure that the shooter WAS in the correct position, Could someone clarify this for me. Bill
