Is there a rule regarding the treatment of ammo taken for Crony.
At our last nationals there were two well meaning blokes who took 8 rounds of everyone (except a couple of us who were shooting when they came round),
the ammo was put in little plastic bags and laid on the concrete beside the crony, temp was about 26 cent (thats just over 70 f) and not a cloud in the sky, you coulnt pick them up, they were hot hot hot.
Now believe it or not every one eventually qualified for p/f.
As I had not had ammo taken I just said take them from wherever you like and they took some from my belt and some from the bag...I came in at 216p/f and quite a few blokes were well over that, Now I was shooting a Glock 22 in Production, loaded down to a comfortable 136 p/f which shot good and worked the std spring. And needless to say was flabergasted (good word that) but as range staff always knows best shut up and went away.
Anyway, is there a rule rule regarding how the ammo is treated once its passed over to the range staff, some of the powder we can get here is a bit temp sensitive and its a piss off if the let it heat up, some times its not the powder so much as the air in the case that heats up and effects the "bang",.
