  1. It will be up in classifieds tomorrow with pictures and all info ...I just wanted to give you guys a heads up
  2. At this point I really just wanna try to sell...I have another project going on and need the money to finish it... Thanks
  3. Its an open upper that is on a limited frame...its the upper I bought from you :-)
  4. Gauging interest- I'm thinking of selling my 9mm open tanfo...I tried shooting open and while its fun I simply don't enjoy it as much as I do shooting limited. Its a ready to shoot package...comes with cmore sight and 90 degree mount , Hennings thin smooth grips, Henning flat trigger. And 6 mags. I have pictures that I can put up later...just wondered if anyone was looking for one. Thanks
  5. anyone else seen this? www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUPCZ_imDeE just copy and paste lol
  6. i tend to prefer slower powders than most people tho...i like the consistency and accuracy i get from filling the cases . i tried a buddies load with 320 and did not like it at all...was flattening primers to just barely make major
  7. never used either of those ..no help there.
  8. i started at 5.4 and was chronyed at 186 pf i think...use 5.1 gr now with and average 166 or 167 pf oal is 1.130
  9. anyone want to trade a short Henning flat trigger for the medium one? i need the medium one . it fits my hand better
  10. AA#7 is the most accurate 9mm powder i could find. fills the case nicely and i loved it.
  11. if you are using the new mecgar K mags you cant load long....the gun will run them but the mags wont....they have a spacer in the back...1.130-1.133 is about as long as i have been able to load...are you using factory followers ?
  12. that is correct.....red button is bad....it was an easy button lol...hit it and it killed all hostages...which means you easily lost the match....still my favorite stage ever!!!
  13. Yes they were exactly the same...just mini. We have a lot of fun with them lol
  14. ive heard that polygonal rifling is bad with lead as well....as in ...dont use it! i never shoot lead so I also am curious if this is true as well
  15. if you want to get rid of it... let me know... ive been kinda looking for one in 9mm
  16. The slides that are cracking are all on the steel and polymer guns.....the elite series are much better guns and you should have no issues with it.....as for the mags causing FTE....they sure will....i used to be skeptical as well ....now if i have a jam of any kind i will check my mags first and then look at other things
  17. to chamber....sorry . they tend to stick in the rifling sometimes if longer
  18. the mags will hold them fine but the barrel may not........seems like they need around 1.150 to feed properly.....of course that may change with bullet shape too
  19. i have 6 of the new mags and have had to tune 5....the last one just started to give me problems....its next to be tuned. the only problem seems to be a failure to fully eject spent rounds.....not sure why....i tuned them and all failures stopped.....running 100% again.....not saying that is the problem in this case but its worth checking
  20. make sure your mags are tuned correctly as well
  21. hey guys....great retorting .....you will notice that i said one of the things that affects accuracy....there are many things that affect it but most of them relate to the airspace. Overall length is another big factor...find the length that it takes to get as close to the rifling as possible without actually binding....i wasnt knocking anyones loads nor was i trying to say mine were better...on the contrary ...i was just putting some of my personal observations out there for you all to pick apart and add too...I am an expert by no means and i learn so much from you guys ever day...heck some of you have been reloading longer than Ive been alive...But one of the things I have learned is that when you think you have it all figured out....thats usually when you find out your not even close....
  22. im gonna probably start an arguement with this but here goes......the number one thing i can find that effects accuracy is airspace in the casing. or more specifically the position of the powder......hear me out.....when you load your powder its all at the bottom of the cartridge....when you load it in the mags it is laying sideways and the powder falls to the bottom side of the case..when your gun cycles it slams the bullet into the chamber and all the powder moves forward against the back of the bullet ...see what im saying ? the airspace is different which changes the way your powder ignites....if you want the most accurate bullets find a powder that fills the case as completely as possible to reduce the amount of powder position deviations and your accuracy will improve greatly. but dont take my word for it...test it for yourself. a lot of people like super fast powder for because it generally uses less powder..but in my test its also the least accurate loads.....one of the most accurate powders ive found for 9mm is AA#7...its a pretty slow powder butt will completely fill the case...no airspace.....i can hit a 10 inch plate every shot at 75 yards and if i change nothing but the powder to say..win231....i might hit it 1 time out of ten.. groups are also all over the place and so are the fps with the chrony...its very close with the no airspace rounds and deviates by 100 fps with the faster powder more airspace rounds...... The thing to ask yourself is do you need that kind of accuracy for the game you are playing? most of the USPSA/IPSC stages don't require long shots as a rule so the lesser amount of powder is a justifiable trade off..... ok.. let the professional retorts to this begin
