Good tips! As it was stated in this thread, trigger time is trigger time.. Minor DOES feel different from Major but the timing issue is secondary to me IMO. I see it this way, shooting is still visual input, regardless of load(minor, 22LR)/ gun, shooter must see what he/she needs to see to take the shot with the appropriate follow through. Yes, I know the dot/front sight may bounce different, that's what makes the shooter improvise and be dynamic in their shooting. IE: Many shooters who do not have opportunity to shoot with real guns and ammunition for steel challenge, practice with airsoft. Watch them practice on youtube and watch their results in the match. Agreed, mix in live/match ammo into the practice session.

Tried this set up today from a fellow shooter at NRG using a JV mount (pre production, from what it looks like)... I need to shoot a whole match to get a grasp of the changes. Initial impression.. very good. RTS is VERY close to Serendipity/slide ride glass size. Matt C. posted a pic on FB showing the different heights from 90, RTS and upright Serendipity. Update: I've decided to change gears on grip panels. Will hire someone to stipple another set factory grips in hopes to slim the grips further. The grit/grip I made works well however, did make it a bit wider. I would need to either: 1. Sand down the grip then add grit 2. Stipple it only. Will post once done. (provided I stop shooting this gun to get the grips done)

I have been shooting the 92 every weekend since that post. So far wearing very well! As expected, some grit did fall off, yet it is still exceptionally grippy. Process was done by Masking the area with tape, applying epoxy, then sprinkle silcon carbide to taste. Allow to set/dry per epoxy instructions.

Good thread.... At our club, during sign up, we ask what kind of gear? Then we suggest a division for them based on the rules and give options. 1. Production 2. Open Minor. Runs smooth, and they make the choice. Which is usually not an issue especially if they are not YET USPSA members, then we hand them our card with website, USPSA Application and wish them a good time.

I got a friend into practical shooting last March. Taught him how to load and now he loads on my press for himself. Buys his components and our schedules work out so he can load when I'm available and he saves hundres of dollars not having to buy new gear. More budget for more components. He's a engineer specializing in robotics, so he like to keep the(my) machine in clean working order. Thanks JD !

Good thread.... I was advised for any given classifier, the top 10 HF submitted in that division is then averaged, then your percentage is based on HF you earned on that classifier. Which is why when you reshoot the same classifer and same HF at a later date, your percentage will change. It's a good gauge to keep pushing the shooter to get better and to keep raising the bar.
