Does the 5197 actually fit the XDM 5.25? Safariland' website says they are not compatible.

I was looking at both the primary arms and the millet, now I will wait for the vortex. I have owned things from primary arms and millet and did not have any complaints, I just think the vortex scope is a better quality product.

I used Wolff springs and Dawson followers. With the Canadian mag bodies I got 20 rounds with no problems.

Waiting to hear how you like the tactical model. I have been considering the Tactical 4.0 in .40 as a carry gun. I already use an eagle for USPSA so lots of training ammo and mags are covered.

Not getting a procedural for dropping mags. That one gets me every time. Maybe I should shoot IDPA more than 1 or 2 times a year.

Model paint might work for the areas inside the serrations. Not sure, just a thought.

I would replace it and then take the old one out to the shop and see what happens. Worst case, you destroy the slide. Best case, a repaired slide is a good excuse to build another gun.

I just got a GSG. I'm looking forward to getting out and shooting some steel challenge with it. Now it's time to order some new sights from Dawson, and some wrap around finger grove grips from Hogue. I have seen a couple of different after market guide rods. Thoughts on which one to get?

P16. This is my second year with mine and I love it.

I have the 15" Samson. It's the shortest hand guard I will buy. I would be interested in something longer, depending on cost and weight.

1. Dry fire practice on a more regular schedule. 2. Make B in Limited. 3. Start a fitness program to lose weight and become healthier. 4. Take at leat 1 class from a top shooter.
