Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have had three of the couplers since they came out. I wanted them for a 40S&W build in PCC that I did right before the division was accepted. They would not work with the 22rnd and the 15rnd mags coupled. I have since put the ETS 30 mags on top of glock17 mags and they have work flawlessly Dave.
  2. Glad you brought this post around. I have been thinking about building a side charging upper. But after what you've said I think I'll stick with my rifles that run 100%.
  3. I use a VLTOR A3 buffer with a standard carbine tube and a 308 carbine spring in my 40s&w build. It has been running fine for now. It actually has less recoil than my nine.
  4. 3.6 to 3.8grns E3 under a 125grn bullet that I make. Right now I am trying out the 147 and the 160grn bullets from Bayou and they are showing progress.
  5. No. Still drag it out on some occasions. I was getting some leading in the stock barrel after 100 to 200rnds but this was with bare lead bullets. Now that powder coating and hi-tech coatings have come around the only residue that I find is powder fowling. The KKM barrel may be a little better for accuracy but not enough to justify.
  6. Started shooting lead through the stock barrel on my 34 for the first two years that I owned it. I then thought that I had to have a KKM barrel just to shoot lead. Ever sense coated bullets have come around my KKM barrel sets in my safe. Will have to say that the stainless look does make the gun look good!
  7. WST if you have it. E3 if you know how to use it.
  8. 231,Bullseye and WST are my favorites for 38 spl loads. In that order.
  9. Guys, I don't think the problem with ringers is a problem with the brass getting wet. If this was the case 50% of the brass that I pick up at are range would be useless. I literally pour water out of the cases that I pick up during the early spring and late fall. Does anyone think that the problem could be primer anvils or the punches on the sizing dies. The few cases that I have come about that did contain some ringers did come from a match that we had that day. All that brass was picked up that day and nothing was wet. TDH
  10. http://copsrange.com/index.html Copy and paste. Great bunch of guy's to shoot with.
  11. I would also like to know the same thing. The target model is the one I am interested in. TDH
