Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Well, my EDC belt is a 1.5" Wilderness. My holster & spare mag fit fine on that. I bought a 1.5" inner belt & a 2" belt , both with appropriate matching velcro. My Gilmore holster fits fine on the 2" belt, and I found some 'custom' single stack kydex mag pouches to fit, but nothing for double stacks as of yet. Reckon I can get a 1.5" from the same source and ditch the 2"er.... Thanks!! Steve
  2. Who makes mag pouches (for either double or single stack) with a 2" belt loop? Or am I gonna have to get a 1.5" belt?? I'm not looking dor "duty" style, rather something I can use in IPSC/USPSA. Steve
  3. Shot in my very first Steel match last month (Feb) at Atlanta Conservation Club, and found out I came in 11 out of 14 in Limited class. Shot a stock PO P14-45LTD. Had a fantastic time. Going back for more in March! Met a lot of very nice people, very helpful. Steve
  4. Showed the holster to a buddy of mine today, and that is normal. Appreciate the responses! Steve
  5. try looking at this page I ginned up.... http://ecrange.4t.com/index.html
  6. How the heck do you attach pics???
  7. Recently picked up a used Gilmore Speed Leader holster, and am wondering if the 2 spacers right below the belt loop should be loose? Looks like they may have been glued in at one time, but no longer. Took everything I had to get a 2" belt thru the loops, and part of the belt is visible thru the spacer holes. Once I get it situated, I may have to take a drill and cut the hangie down parts of the belt (all this technical jargon Any help is greatly appreciated. Anyway, I tried contacting Gilmore to see if they have an instruction sheet to send, but no response, yet. Steve

If you can pick up 1070 AM, WIBC, you can hear Dave in the afternoons, something like 4 - 8 pm. And as a life-long Hoosier, I agree with everything the original post said Steve
  9. Thanks for the replies, guys. I sure appreciate it. No way in he!! I'm gonna use surplus stuff now :-) Looks like the thigh pockets in my Cabela's cargo pants will come in real handy! Steve
  10. Just wondering what the minimum accessory gear is for a 3 gun match. Can I get away with GI ammo pouches on a web belt? Buttstock shotshell holder for shotgun. Baggy pockets like back in the 'hood??? Is a 'tactical vest' a fashion faux pas? Enquiring (& cheap) minds want to know! I've got 'till the end of March to find out :-) Steve
  11. Quote: from Steve Anderson on 9:50 am on Jan. 24, 2003 Shooting pins was my first competition shooting, and still very challenging. The Yahoos that run our local pinshoot like to torture us when the times get too low... Right now we have 7 pins on a table at 35 ft, then 10 on wooden rails at 40 ft, Then a "terrorist pin" that is behind two red pins that are almost touching. You must shoot the terrorist without touching the red ones for you overall time to count. There are no excuses in pin shooting, and it rules. Keep it up. SA Those are just plain evil ideas, and I'm going to suggest them at our next pin match :-) Steve
