It's not healing, got a new brace today (still no cast though - woot!) and got "better" pain killers. They took the pain away, from my arm, but it feels like it ate the lining out of my stomach in exchange!!! And I can't remember my name, where I live - crap, forgot where I was going again.

I have a HUGE problem with trust and confidence. Jack - you've helped me more with this diary than any other teacher I've ever had. THANK YOU

JANE'S YANG Jane - you are an inspiration, in shooting, life and love. It has been a pleasure to watch you grow this year and drag your family along with you kicking and screaming to grow too (hence the "love" inspiration - it takes a STRONG woman to overcome her family!). I'm one of those people that believes goals are not always meant to be met. If I did what I could, with honesty to myself, and I didn't make it, then it's okay. I'm not dead - I *CAN* do it, I just set the wrong time frame We *ALL KNOW* you did what you could and were honest with yourself. Re-set those goals and get to it once you're healing time is done. We'll be here to cheer you on, pat you on the back (and between us grrls - cry if we need to )

Last year we stayed at the Fairfield. NICE ROOM! It had a living room and a divided area for the bed. Wasn't too expensive either - we got it for $79. It was closer than the match hotel, at the intersection of 169 and 244.

Oh yeah - I can think of plenty ideas Too bad my brain is mush from the pain/painkillers ARGH!

I LOVE working 1 day matches! Have the RO's shoot the day before, but make sure the stages are setup - I HATE having to build a stage and then RO it and shoot it! Feed me while I'm at the range, bring me cold bottled water and I'm a happy grrl!

It's not bad really. It's just a little tiny "buckle fracture". I didn't get the gory details It's really kinda weird, I was complaining about shoulder, upper arm and elbow pain and the doc tells me I broke a bone in my lower forearm! No cast - just a brace and some killer pain pills Excellent prognosis - about 10 days to heal. No cast means no atrophy and no physical therapy - woot / All in all, I'm a pretty luck grrl. Now that I've tumbled down a flight of stairs you wouldn't believe the number of people that "know somebody that got killed that way"! PS - those people that tell you that you don't get up as quick the older you get new wtf they were talking about!

Ha ha ha ha! Now that is funny! Seems like it has been 100 degrees here every day as well. Only hoping for reasonable weather at this point... I was thinking the same damned thing. Yup - just went out and checked the thermometer... 98° at 11pm!

Actually, the only thing that makes me want to RO is a budgetary crunch If RO's get to shoot for free AND have the match count for score, AND I need the "extra help" then I'll volunteer to RO. If I'm broke, and there's no RO incentives, I'll just skip the match and find the next one that has what I want Caveat- the nationals don't follow this plan for me. I RO the nationals for the experience.

I guess I don't post enough anymore... cause I do have say, me and TL have the most appropriate for our purrsonalities
