Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Mil-comm TW-25B grease and MC-2500 synthetic oil.
  2. Wouldn't Benelli offer to sell you another receiver through their parts/warranty department? I got the parts I wanted for my Versamax from Remington when I called them. Took the several tries t get me the correct parts, but I finally got them
  3. Thank you all very much! This gives me some options to try. The barrel clamp is still there, I'll try it without it. I like the sights, that sounds like a good option as well. Who would be some good people for truing the barrel? I'm not sure about sending the gun to Remington, to get the correct parts to replace the bolt release button that fell off the first time I took the range I had to call them 3 times before they finally sent the correct parts.
  4. Got mine about 6 months ago. Took it to the range and the gun shot slugs (regular and reduced recoil) 3" high and 1" left at 50 yards. Adjusted the stock and that helped some. However, to hit center I still need to position the gun so that as I look at the front sight I barely see the top of the fiber. I understand that without an adjustable rear sight I must adjust my check weld on the stock, but with this gun it seems I really have to over-compensate compared to the other shotguns I own. I understand that Remington has had quality issues and am wondering if something is wrong with the barrel or the receiver? I really do like how the gun handles except for what I must do to get good hits on paper.
  5. I ordered some stuff from them on April 13th. I hadn't heard from them for a couple weeks so I called several times and finally got hold of he guy. He said he would be shipping the stuff right out. I also saw they charged my credit card on April 27th. Well, I still haven't received the orders and I haven't seen a package. I've called several times and they don't answer. I understand they have great gear, but what's up with taking so long to get things from them?
  6. Nice scope, Nice price. Can't wait to try one
  7. Thanks! I looked at the parts diagram and found it. I'll be ordering one tomorrow
  8. I'll be getting my lifter welded after it bit me last Saturday. It would be nice if I could buy the part from Remington without having to buy the entire trigger assembly...
  9. I appreciate the responses, and the video is excellent! I hope to find someone who has the Vortex so I can try it as I have tried the Weaver. I presume the difference in eye relief between the two is negligible so it will come down to clarity and the reticle. If anyone has any further insight I'd appreciate it as well.
  10. Great advice! The one thing I forgot to mention. When I tried the Weaver, it's strange when I zoomed in to a distant target the reticle shrank down in size. I guess it's strange because the inexpensive scopes I've owned in the past didn't do that. In retrospect it seems that's probably a good thing so that the reticle lines don't obscure the target. Does the Vortex perform in the same manner?
  11. Vortex Viper PST TMCQ MOA 1x4 http://www.vortexoptics.com/product/vortex-viper-pst-1-4x24-riflescope-with-tmcq-moa-reticle-capped-turrets vs. Weaver Tactical 1x5 http://www.weaveroptics.com/optics/tactical/ Which is the better scope? Better glass? Better reticle? Better eye relief? I've only shot through the Weaver and it was ok
  12. Bullets to the rear. Comp-Tac made me a special mag carrier for it, the version on their web site has the bullets facing the front. Works good for me
  13. I would appreciate it if they would just put the link back on the site to Mark Messages as Read.
