  1. Great matches with awesome stages, everyone was helpful and match went very smooth. Congrats to the staff and all the RO's for their tireless work. Great shooting with all the others on Squad 4, hope to see you again. Prize table was also very good. My son and I had a wonderful time and will return. Hard to believe three shooters from Sierra Vista each won an award. Congrats to Marc and Neal.
  2. This match sounds so good I signed up and can hardly wait. My son is coming also from Denver.
  3. Best loader you can buy. Works with high caps and SS.

    Tasco PDP3 Repair

ABO in Florida is working on it now, $35.00. Will let you know when I get it back.
  5. Yes, I did bend the top like everyone said. I did this on the old mags and it helped a lot. Maybe I need to bend some more on these new mags. I am loading the MG 124gr JHP to a length of 1.215.
  6. Has anyone had any experience with the new 21 rd. 38 Super magazines with the Cape basepad? I purchased 3 from Caspian and have nothing but trouble, the same as the old ones. Nose diving rds. My old mags are fairly reliable after much tuning, but I wanted to try these new ones. The base pad is great and workmanship looks very good. I can't load over 10 rds without nose diving problems. I have adjusted feed lips to correct dimensions .350 front and .330 rear and polished the lips..still don't feed and nosedive badly. al

    Tasco PDP3 Repair

I found my old receipt from 3/15/06, it was a guy in OK that did the work he called himself OKIE-DOT his name was Jess Anderson in Pryor, OK. He charged $115.00 for scope, BP 35.00, shorten 35.00 and bright 10.00. I have sent mine to ABO, I have not heard anything yet. Starting an S_I project now. al

    Tasco PDP3 Repair

Thanks everyone for the input. The problem I have is finding one with a big dot, the PDP3 is a 3 moa only. Mine is an 8. I will keep checking GB. Joe, I think the outfit you sent your scope to is www.aboutusainc.com, they are in FL. I found it today searching for Tasco repair. I will call tomorrow. Again thanks everybody. al
  10. I have a Tasco PDP3BD that has been on my open gun for over 10 years. It was bullet proofed and shortned by a dot guy way back when. It finally has given up and has no adjustment in the windage. I have another one new that also was worked over but it only has a 3 moa dot. I have it on a Caspian with a Red Buff mount (Hiett). Does anyone know someone who repairs Tasco Red Dots? thanks al
  11. Here is a picture of my Para that had a checkered insert welded into frame. al
  12. As usual, went in for a front end alignment and was told I needed new lower ball joints and tie rod ends. From $79.00 to $752.00.
  13. Just completed cataract surgery in both eyes last month, it is hard to get used to not wearing glasses after 50 years. My distant vision is now 20/20 but I need glasses for reading and looking at front sight. I will be needing about +1.50 for the right eye for the sight. I see you are using Rudys, I just found out about them and want to get a set for shooting. How do the inserts work? I think they would be great for adding what I need for seeing the front sight and then removing for daily wear. al
