  2. I've done this before, but I can't remember how I did it, Can someone please point me in the right direction to set up the staff pre registration link so that my staff bypass payment and can sign up early? Thanks in advance
  3. I currently load 9mm on one of my 650's, but i'm diving off in to Open class with a 38 SC gun, im wondering if any of my 9mm parts are compatible ( shell plate, pins etc) or do i need a full set of dies and caliber conversion kit? Thanks in advance?
  4. I load to 1.185 and the bear creek 180 moly coat bullets i use like to stick in the rifleing sometimes, i have been told that I need to throat the bbl, does anyone know what tool to use? any cautions or hints??
  5. I ran 4.1 titegroup and 200 extremes but they toumbled like crazy out of my 5 inch sight tracker. recoil was manageable but brisk no pressure signs what so ever. loaded to 1.185 COL winchester and CCI primers made major 170 ish PF I went back to moly coated and bayous much softer shooting at major PF and no tumblers
  6. Any help at all? I tried 4.1 grns VV n320 average velocity was 795 at 4.3grains I was getting around 815 I guess i'm going to try 4.5 next, that should get me above 825 comfortably. COL is 1.18 as mentioned before I am using a 200 grain extreme FP. any thoughts? it seems like others are making major with a lot less powder???
  7. Does anyone have a good recipe? OAL? I don't have time to experiment too much, Thanks in advance
  8. Same thing happened here in california, nvsa had all of their steel stolen. it cost over 4000.00 dollars to replace it all.
  9. I have shot about 15 pounds of 231 and hp38 at major 40 over the last three years, absolutely NO problems at all
  10. I have an sti spartan in 9mm and would like to convert it to 40 what would I need to do?
  11. Great, where does he work and how can I contact him?
  12. does anyone know a gunsmith who can fit a schueman barrel with a fiber optic front sight on my sti?
  13. what is time plus scoring,, and what is the best, or at least the most common way of shooting it?
  14. I just got a thousand 200 gr hbrn bullets and want to use them in our local match this weekend, has anyone tried theese before, what recipe's did you try?
  15. I get 18 plus 1 in my para ordnance p 14 with dawson precision base pads and they work great. I know some of the supers and 9's get 20 plus but I really don't feel at a disadvantage at all. the 45 has less felt recoil less muzzle flip, and with wadcutters, I can easily see my bullet strikes where a 9mm or 38 super cant. plus, the plates fall faster!!
  16. I have had stellar luck with high base 3.25 dr eq #5's lots of multiples!!!
  17. thanks, that is about what I figured, I wish the local clubs were uspsa clubs, then I could see how i compare to other shooters all over the country.
  18. they are scoring uspsa format and i shoot about 75 percent of the total, but that includes open class shooters. wouldnt i be scored against other limited shooters?
  19. I am a uspsa member already, there are just no clubs close enough for me to get there. some of the guys have larger pocketbooks than I do and can afford to travel farther!!!
  20. OK, I shoot at a local club ( two actually) that are not uspsa clubs. however many of the shooters are uspsa members, a few are even gms. the problem is, they all shoot open class. I shoot limited. I usually shoot about 75 percent of the gm who wins the match. but since he is in open and I am in limited, i dont know how I would measure up to other limited shooters, anyone care to speculate? ( I am Usually in the top 3 in limited, but none of the limited shooters are classified)
