  1. I opted for the aluminum grip. I also have a 5.5” 40 with stainless grip. I wanted to go lighter. I think I made the right choice, for me.
  2. Scanning the QR code on the side of it may net you an answer or two
  3. None at all. I’m testing the 165 at 1.21” with no issues.
  4. 4.5gr VV n320 Black Bullet Int 180gr TC bullet at 1.140” gets me a 167 power factor. I’m working up a load with BBI 165gr bullet. I should have that data in the next couple days or so.
  5. Only the MPA magwell will fit
  6. I have the MPA DS40 with the aluminum grip and I also have a couple guns with the Cheely steel grip. The Cheely is more aggressive but the aluminum offers plenty of traction. The aggressive steel MPA should be comparable to all the other steel grips on the market.
  7. They just started taking orders, there may not be any out yet.
  8. It’s also possible that the bullet could be hitting the slidestop and engaging it. If this is the case, you could try another profile bullet, shorten your OAL or remove some material from the catch.
  9. MPA DS40 Travis Tomasie Signature Model with aluminum grip. The Geppert X-Line Vario Trigger isn’t an MPA option, but different color and length triggers are available.
  10. Are you sure that it’s 9mm? A gun of that vintage may be 38Super or 38Supercomp. All the barrels are the same until the gunsmith cuts the chamber.
  11. I’ve been using the Ghost for quite a few years with a number of different steel, aluminum, and plastic grips. I haven’t tried the LSI grip specifically, but have never had a issue and have never modified the holster. I have tried other holsters but keep coming back to the Ghost.
  12. Machine time and coating costs also should be figured in.
  13. We can throw MPA into the ring. The DS40 TT lists for $3000 with aluminum grip. Add on another $500 if you want a stainless grip.
  14. Putting electrical tape on the battery will stop the contact from touching the battery. Dustin’s suggestion is the best bet but shouldn’t be needed on Gen 4 or 5.
  15. There’s a thread, somewhere, that addresses this. A small o-ring is placed under the battery contact to apply more pressure. I did the same thing but used a piece of foam earplug.
  16. I shoot with Elliot on a regular basis and can guarantee that he stages the trigger more often than not.
  17. Elliot Aysen, for one. If you watch him shoot you can actually see it happen.
  18. Some of the best revolver shooters stage the trigger for nearly every shot, others pull straight through. It’s all in jow you train.
  19. Check for sharp edges or burrs on the underside of the star. There may be just enough there to let it hang up on the face of the cylinder. Some extra fine sandpaper should be all that’s needed.
  20. Including the price of a stock 10/22, over $1,000. PMACA chassis, Smoke Composites stock, Taccom ULW barrel, Tandemkross trigger, bolt handle, and scope mount, Clark internals, and C-more RTS2 weighs in at 3 lbs 3 oz
  21. I’ve got one of their stocks on my 10/22 with a PMACA chassis. Super light.
  22. Shooters Connection steel lined belt seems to be a great value for the money and the stiffest I’ve tried.
