4.5gr VV n320 Black Bullet Int 180gr TC bullet at 1.140” gets me a 167 power factor.
I’m working up a load with BBI 165gr bullet. I should have that data in the next couple days or so.
I have the MPA DS40 with the aluminum grip and I also have a couple guns with the Cheely steel grip. The Cheely is more aggressive but the aluminum offers plenty of traction. The aggressive steel MPA should be comparable to all the other steel grips on the market.
It’s also possible that the bullet could be hitting the slidestop and engaging it. If this is the case, you could try another profile bullet, shorten your OAL or remove some material from the catch.

I’ve been using the Ghost for quite a few years with a number of different steel, aluminum, and plastic grips. I haven’t tried the LSI grip specifically, but have never had a issue and have never modified the holster.
I have tried other holsters but keep coming back to the Ghost.
Putting electrical tape on the battery will stop the contact from touching the battery.
Dustin’s suggestion is the best bet but shouldn’t be needed on Gen 4 or 5.
There’s a thread, somewhere, that addresses this. A small o-ring is placed under the battery contact to apply more pressure. I did the same thing but used a piece of foam earplug.
Check for sharp edges or burrs on the underside of the star. There may be just enough there to let it hang up on the face of the cylinder. Some extra fine sandpaper should be all that’s needed.
