Nordic Components MAGAZINE SPRING installation instructions: We recommend starting with the following lengths of spring extending past the end of the magazine tube as a starting point: Auto: 14-16" Pump: 8-12" Springs can be trimmed down in 1 inch increments to fine tune the magazine spring for function. After trimming the spring to length, turn both ends down and in, so as not to bind with the magazine tube cap or follower.

I have one of their slides on one of my p80 builds. It's a quality product.

Yes, I used to own a KSG. It was utterly unreliable and would jam up shells when feeding. Loading it was also a pain. The IWI TS12 is light years ahead of the KSG.
-
I found that it really only works with Glock mags and even with those it can be a pain sometimes. It helps to wear gloves and put a few drops of oil in it according to the instructions.
-
It doesn't feel bulky at all to me.

Not in competition but my IWI TS12 will run light birdshot loads and seems like it was made to load doubles. It will also hold 17 shells fully loaded.

I had some parts laying around and decided to turn my Stoeger M3000 Freedom Defense into a "shockwave". Parts I used: MOA Precision Magpul SGA Stock Adapter 5/16-18 x 4.5" socket cap bolt 5/16x5/8 washer shockwave raptor grip (required some filing to fit the MOA Precision adapter) Pictured below my Mossberg Shockwave for reference:

Does anyone have a coupon code for moa precision? Thanks.

I've been very happy with Acme bullets. Be sure to use a case expander that doesn't just bell the mouth. I'm using a double alpha powder through expander on my Hornady LNL and it works great.

I've found that my older astigmatic eyes like the smallest dot possible because they turn it into a blob anyway. That being said, I recently went from an RM09 1moa to a 507c in green.

New PCC with feeding problem......
meanmotorscooter replied to MikieM's topic in Pistol Caliber Carbine
I had a similar issue with my Foxtrot Mike slamming the nose of the bullet back into the case. It wasn't even making it into the chamber. This was with hollow points only. I switch to a MaconArmory.com guaranteed to feed barrel and it's been good ever since. -
For sale is an RMR Type 2 RM09 1 moa in excellent condition. Comes with sealing plate. $400 delivered to the lower 48. Payment by Zelle,Venmo, or PayPal (add 3%)

I was going to build another P80 but for the price and minus the headaches, I'll wait for the PSA version.

Hornady factory or Mr Bulletfeeder?
meanmotorscooter replied to FWSixgunner's topic in non-Dillon Reloading Equipment
The Mr. Bullet Feeder works great with Acme 9mm coated bullets on my LNL AP -
Anyone seen the pictures of the M&P frame droop problem? There is a thread at TFL talking about it: http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=327081 I don't think I'd consider one until it was resolved.

Bladeless Lasik One Week Later
meanmotorscooter replied to Gary1911A1's topic in Tips for Improvement
I had no blade lasik done about a year ago. It was scary for the first month or more because I was so light sensitive. Now I'm fine and my eye's work great. I have a little dryness sometimes but no more than I had before. It was definitely worth it but I was seriously questioning my decision for the first month or two. I'm glad I took the leap. I didn't go to one of these fly by night places. I paid extra to get a well educated doctor affiliated with a dedicated eye hospital. I also ride a motorcycle so it's paying off in all my hobbies. In the end I think I made the right choice.
