    Winter

I like Winter. XCountry skiing yesterday and Thursday our weekly Indoor match. 70 degrees and exhaust fans for the somke. RO's shoot first and I do most of my ROing sitting in a chair with a cup of coffee. Life is good. Later, Steve
  2. Some of my friends consider it sacrilege, but I'm a big fan of Dunkin' Donuts coffee. You can get it in one pound bags at the coffee shop and if you get addicted it's available at Sam's Club in the 2.5 lb bag. Later, Steve
  3. Yeah, yeah, that was my first marriage. The language was close and the atitude was perfect. And, from my perspective now 30 some odd years later, I think they got the time frame just about right. Later, Steve
  4. "Nice jacket, nice boots. You need gloves. I used to wear Alpinestars GP gloves. You can't bandage your legs if you can't use your hands. Seriously, I've down at over 120. You get used to them pretty quick if you normally don't wear them" You're absolutely right. The gloves I have are great for my normal rides, but that Picture was taken after I'd been on the bike for eight hours and my hands started going to sleep. I need to get some new gloves that'll be comfortable all day long.
  5. I'm not sure how to do this. If I'm right this is me at Deal's Gap last month. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q320/Sa...lsGapSept08.jpg
  6. There are probably a bunch of threads on this, but I use 3.5 of TG under a 180 gr Berry to get 135 pf out of my G22 Glock. (4.5 in barrel) Later, Steve
  7. All we know from reading P17 is her first name is Alex and that she also looks good on a bike or with a shotgun. Later, Steve
  8. I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. When the bullet yaws it starts pointing off to say the left as it's still going forward. The evidence is an oblong hole in the target. Usually, accuracy also suffers.
  9. I shot 180 gr Berry plated bullets (172PF) in my stock G35 bbl for a couple of years before I developed a Yawing problem. I tried everything to correct the problem (I even cleaned the gun) but finally went to a Lone Wolf bbl and haven't had any trouble since. When the yawing problem first reared it's head, several people said, "You always see that with Major power, plated bullets in a Glock". They said it as though it were common knowledge, but I have never seen anything in print about the Major/Plated/Glock problem. Anyone else heard of this? Later, Steve
  10. Eugene? I always thought it was Tailgunner Joe that had the Commies in all our closets. I wonder how far we can drift this tread. Has anyone talked about the best USPSA prez yet?
  11. The current time here on benos is 10:40 PM. At my house (Eastern Time Zone) it's 3:50 PM. Where is it 10:50? GMT?
  12. Hop We appreciate everything you've done for the sport and you deserve the time off. I'm taking the the CRO course in Feb. and I'll try to partially make up for your absence. Have some fun. Later, Steve
  13. One could make the argument that the Pizza is the Wheel and the Beer and the Pizza make life complete . . . is this starting to sould like a Mako Mozo? Do we need to call Brian?
