Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I used to carry all the time, but I recently moved to a no-CCW state I feel nekkid! SAB
  2. It doesn't matter much whether the IP is static or dynamic with DSL because your dynamic address won't change as frequently as it does with dial-up. With DSL (dynamic or static IP), you'll have an IP address long enough for a hacker to find you. SAB

    Terra Server

Thanks for the link, that is way cool! SAB

I've seen posts from people claiming TG is the cleanest powder they've ever used, as well as from people claiming that it's the dirtiest. What gives? SAB
  5. I love mine, too. And the best part is, I got it on sale for $39.99 several months back (I think the August flier I got from Midway had it on sale again). If you're looking for a cheap alternative to the Dillon filler, the Midway one is the bomb! SAB
  6. I love my JP trigger, too, but it does like to be kept well-lubricated. Just like any fine piece of equipment, you gotta do your maintenance! SAB

    Jp Enterprises

I bought some anti-walk pins for my AR from JP, then realized that they don't work with standard trigger parts (requires slightly larger pin holes). When I called them, they confirmed this, but said they would ream my trigger parts to fit for free! Not only that, but I forgot to send my disconnector, and rather than delay shipment, they took one off the shelf and included it for free! I highly recommend JP Enterprises, based on their excellent customer service! SAB
  8. Another thumbs up for Brian's customer service! SAB
  9. Could it be the ammo you're using? Have you tried multiple types of ammo? Maybe the cartridge case is out of speck, since you're also having trouble stripping a new round off the mag... Just a wild guess... SAB
  10. Try McMaster-Carr at http://www.mcmaster.com. If they don't carry it, it doesn't exist (but you may have to buy a whole package ) SAB
  11. If the grease doesn't work, I second blkbrd's recommendation for purple loctite. It is formulated with reduced locking power specifically for small, easily-broken screws. I've used it many times when blue loctite was too strong... SAB
  12. When I first got my 1050, I tested the power measure's consistency by weighing 20 throws when nearly full and again when nearly empty and found no significant difference, but the test was done on a 223REM load of about 25gr, not a pistol load (large powder bar in the measure). SAB
  13. I'm not much of a scattergunner, but have friends who are, so my opinion is based on here-say rather than first hand experience. That being said, I would have to say that LtdShooter's experience is typical from what I've heard. Dillon makes great rifle and pistol reloaders but the SL900 is not in the same class... SAB
  14. Wow - it took nine posts before this post turned dirty. I'm impressed - you guys are a serious bunch here! SAB
  15. I've been looking for lead-free primers for several months and no dealer I know has any idea when they'll be available. There's either a raw material shortage or a technical challenge at work... SAB
