I bought a 17L and it already has a lighter trigger than most Glocks. Would a 3.5 connector serve a purpose or would it not make much of a difference?

So I just signed up for a membership with USPSA and have not shot a classifier. Will I not be able to shoot any of the bigger competitions until I do 4 classifiers and get a ranking? Maybe I am confused.

I guess I will have to go since I am from the area. Will only be my 2nd or 3rd match. Does anyone know if the Army Marksmanship Unit will be there again?
