  1. I loaded up a hundred of them for my Ruger .45 Colt. They were flush in my starline brass and worked fine. Since I no longer have anything in large rifle I’ll probably use the couple thousand I have for those if I end up really needing them. I did try them in some 45acp brass but they stood a little proud so I stopped.

Oooops! Too late for the shotgun sports too. Biggest issue for us is still primers. My old guy sporting clays, trap, etc shotgun clubber buddies (me too) used to go thru 200-250 rounds a week on a light week. Not no more! Even the cheapest "target" loads have doubled in price to $90+ a case of 10 boxes. I shoot mostly 28 gauge to save on components but still need primers for every shot. BUMMER!

    😟

We can still get cases on Sunday and Mondays for $55 at Dunham’s.

    Not 28s though.

I'm not sure about the Lee seat/crimp die, but the Lee .38 factory crimp die is indeed a roll crimp.

They're both roll crimps, still better off seating and crimping separate.

If I was using a single stage press and it was just plinking ammo I'd seat and crimp together, they were doing it that way 100 years ago and managed to get by without the world coming to an end.
