Has anyone out there had any experience with the RCBS AR Series dies? I am planning on loading .223 for my JP Rifles AR and as I understand it, these dies are specifically designed for AR's.... Thanks! Phil

I am shooting a JP AR-15 with a Wylde chamber (223 and 5.56). That's why I'm thinking that I could just load em up..... Phil

Pardon me for what might be a goofy noob question, but I just bought 500 new WW .223 cases to be reloaded on my 650. It's the first time I am reloading rifle rounds. Is there any reason to full-length size the cases, assuming I measure them and they all measure around 1.75" ?? I assume that I can skip this step, prep the brass (flash hole deburr, primer pocket, etc.) and go straight to priming and dropping powder..... Any other thoughts?? Thanks! Phil

Does anybody out there use/recommend Glen Zediker's suggestion of placing a 7/8" ID o-ring under their dies before locking them down? My understanding is that it improves concentricity..... Do you use them with all your dies or just the bullet seater? Phil

I am about to order a Dillon 650 and would appreciate some advise on die selection.... do most of you 650 users go with the Dillon dies or do you use other brands (RCBS, etc...) or perhaps a mix?? Just curious before I take the plunge. I am planning on primarily loading 40 S&W for USPSA shooting... Thanks! Phil

I just purchased a Vortex Viper PST 1-4x scope for my competition AR. Does anyone out there know if someone manufactures a cattail for this scope or, if a cattail from another scope can be used on this optic?? Thanks for the advice in advance!! Phil

I am just starting to shoot 3-gun (either Tactical or Open) and I need to choose an optic for my AR.. Where I live, 90% of the rifle shots are <100 yds with a rare 200 yd shot. I was looking at either a TA11 ACOG or one of the popular 1-4x variable scopes (Meopta, Burris, Valdata, et...) and would appreciate any advice on the subject.. Phil

I've been shooting quite a bit of shotgun lately and I have a question regarding hearing protection. I use an MSA Sordin headset which is pretty thin, but i still find it annoying when shooting shotgun (an sometimes rifle) as the headset interferes with getting a good cheek weld and I constantly bang the headset against the buttstock. I see quite a few shotgun shooters wearing ear plugs (either custom or not) and I am thinking of getting a pair strictly for shotgun. I would like any feedback on experience with shooting shotgun only wearing earplugs, and what brands/types epople seem to prefer. Thanks! Phil

I purchased an M&P Pro about a month ago after a long wait trying to find one, and after shooting it twice (about 250 rds) I practically broke down in tears. I shot 3 different types of ammo: 115gr plinking rds, 124gr HP defensive rds, and some frangible stuff I had. Results were the same: numerous FTF and several FTE's..... I took down the pistol, gave it a thorough cleaning, and the results were the same. A friend recommeded this forum and after reading this thread, I ordered the 13lb spring and guide rod from Speed Shooter Specialties. I installed it yesterday, shot 250+ rds and I almost broke down again.... with tears of joy!! Not 1 problem at all!!! Shot some of my best groups ever at 10-15 yds too.... I will reserve ultimate judgment until a put a few more rounds through the gun, but so far things are looking up!!! Thanks to everyone here for great advice and feedback about there own experiences...!! Phil
