  1. SGT, I will have some x-tra shotgun shells at the match. Holler & i'll get you some.
  2. Well hell, I've spent way to much money on my machinery.
  3. The gap I use is .007 because as the hood - breach face take a pounding , the gap will close. you don't want the slide hiting the comp at all.
  4. spend about $150.00 buck's, send it to a good smith & in about 2 weeks you will have a good gun.
  5. Does the sun shine on your neck to much?
  6. will bring some to the national's.
  7. Went to a 3-gun match this weekend with a few friend's & shot what I thought was a fairley good match untill I was presented with a bill for damaging a prop. It went like this. You shot your ar from a platform, ran down range about 40 yds, picked up a dummy, ran back, and tossed it onto the platform. At this time our squad was told to use the dummy as a rest for the AR to shoot off of. Most everyone did so , as did I. Except my muzzle break gases tore a small hole in the pant's leg I did'nt know off. After the match was over I was told I owed a $100.00 for the pant's & had to pay. I've never seen anyone put a $100.00 pair of pants on anythine, much less a prop that they know is going to get shot over. To keep a heated agurment down, I paid the money but will never go to this match again as will the guy's with me. Have been shooting 3-gun for 20 yr.'s & have never seen ANYONE have to pay for a prop. that was hurt by accident. I don't know if the other shooter's were aware of it or not but felt inclined to tell everyone how I felt. The way my luck goes , I probley paid retail for the pant's.
  8. I have sold 8 of them & will try to bring a couple to the nat.'s. Price is $695.00 each but worth more when shooting the stages.
  9. Known jimmy for 20 yrs. He's a great guy & gunsmith.
  10. On the c/p cut in the frame, cut it to .590 so you can adjust the cut back after barrel fit for perfect unlocking.
  11. John is a class act. know him & really like him.
  12. AHHH! Great friends when you need them.
  13. Trying to practice for the 3- gun nat.'s & working to get guns out & now I have a 165 mph storm fixing to blow up my ass. This week sucks.
  14. Here's the bottom line. Myself, all the top shooters & our presdent all shoot 1 oz. low recoil slugs. If ours don't make it & a select few do, we have a major problem.
  15. In 1911/2011 guns the ext. alway's touches the case. It has about 12oz. of pressure against the case for extraction, if it does'nt touch it , it will have extraction problems, such as stovepipes.
  16. when chrome is cut, it can flake or come loose.
  17. I'm going to hand him my 3"--1 1/8 oz. mag. slugs. That ought to wake him up.
  18. Just grip it & rip it. It will make no difference in a course of fire.
  19. LOTS of mobil 1- 10w30 everywhere. If it's dripping you'll be ripping.
  20. Only problem is that you cannot load one on carrier after the buzzer, only 8, where kurt & myself can load 10, little bit of a handicap
  21. Mistake on the price of the scopes w/ lite rectical. The 1x4x22 30mm w/ 111ft. field of view is $699.00. Have sold the first 8 in stock but have more comming.
  22. Headspace on the gun should be about .007-.011. That way they all will chamber & will shoot well. If it is .020 you won't notice it much in our shooting games.Check & make sure the head of the ext. is not running into the barrel. I usually take a little off the front of them when this happens & it is quite often.
  23. SRM tubes, excellent in & out. Choate has a weld seam inside that sucks.
  24. I also use the ISMI recoil spring because I try to leave nothing to chance.
