On the bottom of the bolt, at the rear, there is a grove machined across it. Simpley weld this up & refinish it & WALLA, the ghost load.

AND one other thing, the sear spring that rests on the disc. could be bent to far out & is petrudeing into the mag. funnel. The mag. hits it upon insertion.

Let's try U.S. measurement's. Sti, caspian & other quality slides measure .698/.700 in the tunnel. Most bull barrels are cut to fit this. If the slide is bigger than this I would stick w/ a bushing barrel.

send them to a good gunsmith , get them fixed, & let's start shooting more.

WHY?

Make sure the tip of the ext. is not hitting the rear of the barrel. That will take the tension out of them.

Ream the barrel w/ the .156 reamer & then install the new pin.

Or you can do as I do & get 2 hooter's girl's to carry your gear for you.

You had a rd. w/ a low powder charge in it. The slide did not cycle far enough back to hit the ejector & trapped the empty between slide & barrel.

Match was great, it tested ALL your skills. This is one you don't want to miss next year. I dug myself into a hole the first 2 stages but came back to within about 17 match points for a 2nd place finish. Robert wooda was 1st & tony holmes was 3rd. in limited/ tactical.

Scope is fine, comp 1" in dia. & no longer than 3", Have a good jp trigger. shoot lots of A's. You go boy.

When you get to be 58 yrs. old , you will understand why I have to use a scope.

Add a jp trigger, my comp & try to keep total weight under 9 lbs. Use a .040 front sight for limited. Oh yeh, lot's of practice.

Trainsations are a little faster w/ the short , light guns, but if you cannot put 2 shots together fast, you need to go back to what got you there, a flat shooting 5".

Just get a 5" gun lightened on the front end to around 41/42 oz's w/ a short comp & a couple holes in the barrel. Soft in shooting & flat. If you cannot win with it, nothing else will help that much.
