  1. Make sure your family KNOWS what you want. This means having a will that's current and a living will. I know what my Mom wants, knew what Dad wanted before he died, and I know how my in laws want things to be in various circumstances. This is a heck of a thread. Thanks to all who have posted here.

I wish your family the best. I knew Dad had been sick for way too long when I didn't have to look at any of the maps to get around the med center. Good luck.
  3. I always love handloading mishap stories that start this way!! It's good to keep things in perspective. Alchohol enhanced stupidity. I used to know a guy that did virtually all his handloading with a lit cigarette dangling from the corner of his mouth. While drinking?
  4. Amen. I thought that the whole point of a glock was the high likelihood of it functioning under conditions that would make my 1911's cry.
  5. What did he just say! He said we ain't pretty but we got a great personality, no pain no gain, you are what you eat, thanks to his peeps. I have no idea what actually happened. But several times I've asked myself "how did he do that?" when I thought someone was outside the rules. Some of the time I figured out how to do the same thing. (Legally I mean.) Sometimes they were in fact cheating. But either way I learned something...
  6. I've done worse things just to find out if I liked them than buy a new glock! Just curious though; why no rentals where you live?
  7. Though I have to admit it's tempting to say that you are in fact nuts! Heck I shoot some 1911's better than others that would appear to be close to identical .
