we had a shooter on our squad with a 35 doubling last month... checked the splits and they were .09; if you have a timer, check the splits when you think you're getting a double.
I'm also not a candidate for LASIK, and my step dad had this done a couple of years ago, with incredible results.... can't figure why my eye doc didn't ever mention this... (maybe because they get a referral fee for LASIK patients???)
Excellent post... I have been shooting for ~8-9 months, and have reached a plateau trying to figure out how to improve and what to work on... outstanding information.
What a blast... not quite a memory stage, but if you forget where you are, you're sunk...
First stage I've ever shot that was designed for more than 32 rounds. (I think the Field of Steel @ Area 6 wound up being a 46 round - or more - stage... OUCH!)
Looks like a blast... also my first time shooting a stage more than 32 rounds... (at least one designed for more than 32 rounds)...
I'm sure someone will remind you of the 2nd reload, Boz!!!

Max. of 8 in magazine in the case of Rule 8.1.1.2. Any
Single Stack in 45 ACP that meets the SS rules
allowed
Don't specifically say that hi-caps aren't allowed... but from the remainder of the thread, I'm assuming they are... trying to shoot my first 3 gun match without having to buy a lot of new equipment. Is HM single stack only?
My niece has Downs... you were much too gentle with the old biddy!
On a side note, has anyone noticed that you are most likely to be run over in a crosswalk by an older person driving a Cadillac?
I've shot both, have both, prefer the grip angle of the XD. That said, the Glock is what I shoot in Production - much easier to find accessories, get trigger work done, etc. YMMV.
I started with a G35, but quickly decided I could shoot much better (for me) with a 2011... maybe if I'd done trigger work, sights, etc., I would have been happy with the Glock, but since the other was available, can't go back now.
I just shot my first star @ A6... after talking to a few guys about how to do it, it wasn't a big deal.
I would definitely suggest letting folks know how to shoot it, after hearing horror stories of starting at the bottom and trying to follow the plates around.
Dang, all I got when I DQ'd at another match was a chance to keep score the rest of the day...
EAGC runs some great matches.
Thanks again to AL, Ronnie and the crew.
One of my local shops had a few 1000 left yesterday... only 1000 to a customer. Guess we need to have all the local shops on speed dial to check daily, since no delivery dates available. Two shops told me they didn't know they were getting anything until they opened the boxes.
