  1. Any chance of posting or hosting a short video?? With all of the people using bullet feeders on 650's I'm sure it should be able to keep up with someone who is placing a bullet by hand. I'm sure it can be easily solved by someone here if we can see what is happening....
  2. Not unusual. Where does the brass land on the ground??
  3. The casefeeder itself will work(bowl/motor assm)since the 650XL comes set up for the feeder, just have to do a simple switch re-locate. You can sell off the post/ mechanical assm with the 550B and then the next guy can just purchase an aftermarket feeder or the Dillon feeder and save a few dollars.
  4. Just made the same switch. Sold the 550B with all but the casefeeder itself and installed it on the 650XL with ease. No regrets at all..
  5. My reply back would be 20 "dot" 36. I usually like to have my eyes actually see the time on the timer though before I record to clearly be sure both agree.
  6. You said "shooting a little left most of the time"? Where is it the rest of the time. I ask because it is very easy to get left or low left hits due to trigger pull. Are you on a bench with a rest?? Can you get a consistant group?? If yes, then I would use that as the indicator to shift the sights slightly.
  7. Been 5wks since order of 180gr 40 S&W..... Must be shooting season has started!!!
  8. Too cold to sleep outdoors in Vermont right now to try that one....
  9. So, if your blaster falls out of it's holster down into the "Potty" is the R.O. going to get it???? Nope, don't want to be the guy walking around with Dillon Blue hands.. I'll take mine off and bag it thank you!!!
  10. Is the propane torch above the bench for powder burn rate testing???
  11. With the sport consistently growing we are able to give a safe, knowledgeable and practical training to those that may otherwise learn or continue unsafe gun handling practices. If you don't think it makes a huge difference, visit an open public range someday and just sit back and watch... SCARRY.......
  12. Tin Indian, Kaufman, Butler or other ??? Looking to get something with a little more grunt for my '69 T/A and like to hear what others have......
  13. I have a new 550 case feeder I'd like to us on a xl650.. What will i need to make the swap parts wise. Am I better off selling and buying the correct one for the 650???
  14. Most water or gas pipes are grounded. I just ran mine from the press to a water pipe since I'm in a basement anyway.
  15. I'm going to suggest a different approach. Your not going to be able to make a considerable improvement in stage break down and speed in just one week. Add to that, switching to a new gun and going from Minor to Major and your asking alot of yourself in a short period. You already know your a bit slower, so capitalize on that and make every shot count. Focus on the A hits and no penalties and you may put yourself in a better position to beat your buddy. Hearing "2 Alpha" all the time your being scored will put the pressure on him more than " Charlie Delta" with an equal or slightly lesser time. This will also insure you will be taking less make up shots. Of course, this assumes that you are already an accurate shooter...... My 2cents, from another C class shooter!!!!
  16. Do a search on WST in this forum and you will find plenty of info. Not sure what gun you are loading for (Yes it makes a difference)but to make major it is likely you'll want to load long and will end up over manufacturer load specs. Also note that WST is temperature sensitive so depending on your climate shifts it may not be consistant. Do you have a chronograph???
  17. Pricey but worth it (Krytox 100 Oil). You'll never go back, Just a dab will do it....
  18. If your question is more towards, will it work and run without problems? Yes, it should run fine. I've done it between an 9mm FS, 9mm Pro and .40 Pro and there has been no issues. Now as far as eligibility in production, your on your own there!!!
  19. You don't own it if you don't show it.....
  20. Dry fire the hell out of it after cleaning and re-lubing and it will get alot better. Burwell work or an Apex kit will make a larger improvement though!!!
  21. Off Topic..... Chris, my cousins and I had Mattel Sonic Blasters as kids. Had to use 2 fingers on the trigger after we had the dad's pump them up.... Great Avatar!!!
  22. Welcome, come over and join us in Vermont. http://gmpsvt.com/
  23. A, it's a web pic... Gold plate bling on that one... Here's another for ya... All kidding aside, I'd go with all chrome with polished black controls on my next one... R.
