  1. Here you go, saul kirsch sells them http://www.doublealpha.biz/ear-defenders/ear-plugs/surefire-EP7-Sonic-Dfenders-Ultra
  2. No I have a nr of the 14 coil versions and this is still an issue when there are a number of rounds in the mag
  3. Did you order the 10mm mags or the 40 mags? Else you won't be able to load any longer than factory length. As long as i shoot round nose it doesn't matter if I load long or short. If you've got the 10mm mags load +/- 10mm length if you've got the 40 mags load factory length. "It'sa simple" Enjoy your new gun
  4. If you really want a new 1911 for Classic I would wait for after the General Assembly (WS2014) because there proably are going to be quiet a lot of changes to the rules to stop the current trend of people stretching the rules for Classic to much. Of course with the builders you mentioned you can take a number to get in line and file your final buildsheet after the WS. For now enjoy the two 1911 you already have in Classic!
  5. Hahaha I love the "slow it down a little" He means you're shooting A's to fast and making the rest of the tacticool warriors / shooters on the range look bad
  6. The site still says "coming soon" Did you get the extra mags etc with it? I'm still waiting for the TC to become available
  7. Looking at his profile, he's online often enough and also posts in other topics
  8. Love my tripp systemmags, I now shoot 40 minor in IPSC Classic. It's like cheating They come with the basepads grounded down from Tripp to fit the box, but boy it's tight. I hate it when I have to gun boxchecked
  9. regarding the rail, if you would like to shoot a IPSC match in the future, rails are not allowed. The dustcover is max 75mm measured from the back of the slide release pin. Here are some guidelines
  10. Glad to report that the gun ran flawless with the roundnoses this weekend at a match. "Now we're cooking with peanut oil!
  11. Well my flatpoints loaded to 1.2 inch didn't work tonight. First round consistently feedramp jams. Time to run to the store to get some roundnoses. Lets hope it improves.
  12. When i got my mags the basepads where already trimmed. Excellent service. When i checked my gun it was a snug fit but it worked. I hate to pute my gun in the box. Have seen far to often that the frontsight broke or the rearsight lost the p.o.i.
  13. Ok thats allright beter to have 9 rounders that work all the time than 10 rounders that might jamm. I've got 2 system mags and 5 corey's so thats a nice combo as long as i shoot 40 minor. Lets hope at the next general assembly the Classic rules change so major can load 9 or 10 rounds instead of 8.
  14. Well after having my mags lay at customs for over two months i have finally received them. I guess the corey mags have to settle a bit first beforeI can load them with 10 rounds because it seems impossible to get in 10 rounds. The metal followers went pretty easy. Now to get them in the IPSC box because it looks like a real tight fit compared to my 9 round Tripps.
  15. That's a nice pair. Can you give us some more details? I see (what looks like) a Caspian Trik trigger and some other goodies
  16. Skip, some people make the tab of the lock smaller this way you don't disengage the lock as fast. DAA also sells these smaller tabs if you don't want to hack into your own rig.
  17. I'm running 9 rounders now, the only problem i have is that when a round gets stripped the second round also gets partially stripped from the mag. It runs great the only problem is making a reload without emptying the mag. The mag sometimes sticks because of the partially stripped round sticking out. I have a couple of 10 rounders on order now, some with the metal follower and some with the hybrid follower to do some R&D. Once i get a working setup i'll swap out the other mags to the same setup/
  18. I agree with buying the 5 inch topend. A shame to start over while buying practically the same. Great looking Caspian
  19. I've got a Schuemann Ultimatch Bull barrel in my .40. It's definately easy to shoot. But i don't believe it's a big advantage. The gun simply came this way and i'm already used to it on my Edge so I was fine with it. It sure is fat!
  20. I'll be sure to also do this in my quest for smooth mag release. By the way great youtube channel Corey
  21. I'll load up the mags and put them away for a while to check if this helps. I have had a serious jamm where this could have definately been the case. I'll also check the slide stop just to be sure. The main suspect in my case is the magazine ejector button. The spring inside is so stiff that when i'm pushing the release button to fast the button will actually pinch the magazine and hold it in place even when it is loaded (almost) full.
  22. Any updates Ivan as i am running into the same problem
  23. Unfortunately thats costwise, 1.000 fiochi's cost € 460,-- overhere and talking about more than 10.000 cases not a option. Not to mention al the feed issues and PF problems that might occur.
  24. We are running a bit low on brass at our club and are looking around for once fired brass. We used to order from Brassman Brass in Las Vegas but with the export license and fee this is almost more expensive than new brass. Does anybody now a European supplier? DVC Frank
  25. Hmm i'm using Tripp mags with a alloy basepad now that wouldn't get me in to trouble would it? In IPSC for major scoring calibers your limited to 8 round (and 10 for minor). It's a nice change coming from Brazilian mags in standard to "just" using mags that always work.
