I doubt you'll find many folks that have done a trigger job without the VQ stuff. The parts for the Volquartzen trigger upgrade are relatively cheap ($55) and you'll get a very good 2-lb trigger out of it with very little creep. All you need is the VQ sear, adjustable trigger, and hammer bushing. In my experience, the VQ hammer does make the trigger a touch lighter and takes out a little of the creep, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra $40.
