I'm thinking about one of these as an entry into PCC. The price is right. I shoot lefty and the lack of even a possibility of an ambi mag release is making me hesitate. Their website, or maybe their marketer's even warns that it's designed for the right handed shooter and leftys beware. Seems a little short sighted design 20% of your market out.
Any wisdom on this?

Why are everyone's shorts twisted up over this? The OP has just offered another tool to help folks get the job done and good for him. Those that find it useful can use it, those that don't find it useful won't use it. AFAIK there is no rule forbidding such a thing.

Somebody makes a little rubber thing for the bottom of the reciever that is supposed to keep primers from fouling up the trigger. Must happen often enough.

S&W will not sell you a CORE slide. I have not been able to find one. Please post here if you do.

I knocked my muffs off at a match today. I put them back on and continued.

I have a Geissele Super Dynamic 3g. It does not feel anything like the triggers in my hunting or LR rifles, ther is no defined 'break' point. Yet, I can hit targets out to 500 with no problems, at least no problems to do with the trigger.
All of the above mentioned triggers will probably work fine for 3 gun. If I were buying now I'd get the cheapest one and put the extra money into the optic.

For the record, S&W will not sell a CORE slide. There was no explanation, just a "No".

and here is why I hate the idea of basing a division on production rules, I am going to go out on a limb (really I am not a SW expert) and bet that the core slide is not externally identical to the one that came on your 5" pro 9 with the only difference being the sight cut? thefore based on production rules the gun would not be legal and you would be shooting open anyway.Does anyone know if S&W will sell me a CORE slide for my 5" Pro 9? I'll start shooting Prod-Open now and move to Prod-Optics when/if it becomes a division.
Yep. I would be shooting Open. By the time Production/Optics actually becomes a division there will undoubtably be newer cooler pistols and optics on the market. If I want to I'll get one of those.

Well that was disappointing. I've been checking their site several times a day for a while now and I still missed it. I'm happy for their success but I'm probably going to buy something else.

Does anybody know where I can find bulk packs of #6 shot? Walmart used to carry #6 Winchester Universal but I haven't seen them for a long time.

Montana multi gun is a 1 day ironman, but unfortunately it is sold out well in advance as well. Just shoot a normal 3 gun match wearing a 50 pound backpack with a revolver, a garland, and a pump shotgun. That will make every stage feel like an ironman stage.

Note - The FX-9 Carbine is designed for right handed use. We advise left handed shooters to consider this before purchase, as some features may not be well suited to all left handed shooters.
