  1. Is the mini-series different from the actual series that just ended season 3?
  2. Just got a call from my FFL. The bi-tone model I ordered thru Gun Genie came in today. I will be picking it up tomorrow. Will probably be sending it to Springer Precision for a trigger job after taking it to the range and shooting it in an IDPA match 1st week in August.
  3. I personally will load up 3-4 batches of 20-rd (total-80) loads at different grain level (3.4, 3.6, 3.8 for example). If I'm going to the range I'm not gonna take 10-rds and then come home.
  4. According to the USPSA website there aren't any clubs within 90 miles. I did find a club in Idaho Falls which is appoximately 125 miles from Burley. Here's the contact information: Tim Egan Idaho Falls, ID 83402 Phone: (208) 390-9863 Email: eedetail@qwestoffice.net Club Contact: Tim Egan Hope your brother doesn't mind traveling! I'm sure if there are any closer clubs some of the BE members will respond.
  5. I am a subscriber to these videos and find them well worth the $$$$. Great videos by Robert Vogel!!
  6. The Taylor Freelance pads are extended basepads that add 5-6 extra cartridges to your magazine-really only necessary if you shoot Limited in USPSA or want extra in case of a SHTF situation!!!
  7. Speed Shooter's Specialty (a vendor on this forum) makes a IDPA magwell for the M&P Pro but you also have to buy the Taylor Freelance base pads to work with the magwell. Not sure if any other basepads will work. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
  8. I clean my brass before I size it-that should take care of your "mess" in the future. What was the ratio you used for your mixture? How many lbs of brass vs how much water?
  9. You can try Atlanta Arms and Ammo on Monday.
  10. Bill, Have any of the wells drilled in the immediate are started producing either oil or gas or both? Is this a proven field? If yes, this is going to help you drive up the price of your lease. Don't be in a hurry-there are probably other oil companies that would be interested in making you a fair offer. Not sure how things work in Ohio. Try to get a minimum of 25% royalty interest on your lease. BTDT in NM
  11. I thought this was answered several weeks ago.
  12. I don't even think CZ is making the 10-rd mags any more-you should call them. I recently sold 3 10-rder's to a shooter in Commiefornia. They came with a CZ IPSC Standard I bought from a member of the CZ forum. You may want to place a WTB ad on the CZ forum. You might also check with CZ Custom in Mesa, AZ.
  13. I would suggest getting the 147g FMJ/CMJ's from Montana Gold or 147g Precisions now to get started and putting in an order for the 147g Zeros with several distributors including CZ Custom Shop, Target Barn, and Shooter's Connection. You will have to wait but will eventually get some. That's what I had to do anyway.
  14. Should have called CZ Custom. I'm sure someone on the Forum will have the answer. If not, give Rob at CZ Custom a call tomorrow.
  15. Sounds like you're in a rut. How about taking a couple of months off?
  16. Daniel from Dawson Precision advises using the .305 with their adjustable sight. That is what I am using and have had no problems.
  17. You might try Arizona Cartridge Co in Phoenix.
  18. Blade-Tech is where I got mine.
  19. Got mine on order-who knows how long it will take to get it! Anyway, what is your evaluation of the stock trigger? Why does it need work? Thanks
  20. Don't think the stainless steel media is going to work in a vibrating cleaner but what do I know.
  21. Depends on what you classify big differences. For example you can't drop loaded mags or reload while in the open. You have to maintain cover while shooting from behind a barricade. Have to wear a cover garment. I first starting shooting IDPA for about a year and then started shooting USPSA. I would say it is harder for someone coming from USPSA to IDPA to become accustomed to the IDPA rules. IDPA is not wide open. You have to shoot the stages almost exactly as described by the stage designer. Good luck
  22. Check out this thread: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=114034&st=25&p=1403956&hl=stainless%20steel%20media&fromsearch=1entry1403956. I use this system and am very satisfied.
  23. Some are available on Gunbroker if you don't mind paying a premium price. I normally get mine thru Gallery of Guns (Davidsons) and they currently don't have any in stock. Guess they sold out their first inventory. Just waiting until they get it back in stock!
  24. The club where Duane Thomas shoots is the biggest one I've heard of so far-over 100 active members!!! He's from Washington.
