I had the same thing happen to me last week at a CCW match. Couldn't figure out what was causing it. This was the first time I even shot it. Had the stock spring and one of Rich's heaviest guide rods-4 oz. Would the extra heavy guide rod be a factor?

Just watched the first season of "The Walking Dead." Another great series from AMC which brought us Breaking Bad, Mad Men, etc. Can't wait until the 2nd Season starts on October 16. If you aren't watching this you should be!!!

Yes, measurements have been made and the difference between the Glocks/M&P's and the XD's is very minute!! The bore axis of the 1911 is even more than that of the XD so go figure. PS: Haven't seen TGO complaining about the "bore axis" of the XDm 5.25!

I've got about 3.5 bottles that I am not currently using right now because of N320. Got them a while ago-think it was at Recobs.

I would agree with davehorn. Back when the rule was written the plethora of hiking/trail shoes now available on the market didn't exist and the rule was directed at football, golf, baseball shoes. Would probably be a good idea to rewrite the rule in light of this fact. Just wonderin' if in any major competition this question has even really come up or if it is even checked?

One-handed draws while using a T-shirt in USPSA/IDPA might get you DQ'd, especially if you accidentally drop the pistol during the draw.

So who on the Forum has been buying up all of the 4-lb jugs of N320 powder? Can't find the 4-lb jugs in stock anywhere right now. Plenty of 1-lb bottles tho? Unfortunately they won't let me buy 4 4-lb bottles for the same price as a 4-lb jug!

I have used Scott at Springer for all of my XD Competition and one Carry guns. He has done a great job on all of them and in a timely manner which is important to me-means I get to shoot it sooner. My impressions regarding the XDm 5.25 9mm which I received yesterday: Trigger: a little bit too stiff-estimate it at 5-6 lbs-will get it down to about 3.5/3.75. Going to reset after a shot is a little long-I like a short reset. Pre-Travel is about right. Over-Travel is too long resulting in the long reset so will have to eliminate the over-travel. Not gonna get used to the front red fo sight-never have liked them--going to a .100 black serrated from DP. Before I send it off to Scott am going to shoot it in a USPSA match Saturday (Limited) and a CCW match on Sunday-will follow up with a report afterwards.

I just tried the holster I used for my XD9 Tactical and the XDm 5.25 9mm fits in there nicely. Not a 100% exact fit but close enough. It is a Blade-Tech BTW. The barrel doesn't protude using this holster!

How do you compare these rings to Dillon, RCBS, Lee?

Please elaborate on why you ordered 12 of the Forster die rings.

Has anyone with the new XDm 5.25 reloaded for it yet? What kind of OAL's have you come up with for this model? Anyone using 147g Precisions?

Am also a big fan of Justified-caught up this year with Seasons 1&2 plus Season 3. If any of you aren't watching it, Breaking Bad is a must-see series!!!
