I have a CompTac holster for my XDm .40 4.5. When I insert the XDm 5.25 9mm the barrel doesn't protrude as shown in Scott's photo above unless I push it in a little bit harder than usual. Think I am going to take my Dremel or a file and open up the bottom just a little bit more. On second thought will leave it as is. The pistol clicks into place and isn't that difficult drawing it from the holster. It's a better fit than the Blade Tech XD Tactical holster and I will be using this one for IDPA instead of the BT Tactical. Now if only BT will come out with the DOH holster for USPSA!!!

Your barrel is the ultimate case gauge-not the EGW case gauge. Not sure whether the EGW case gauges are on the tight side-sure someone will chime in with the answer.

Have you considered using that $$$$ for the 2 cases of ammo for a Dillon reloader-either SDB or 550?

Yes, the gun does click when holstered. Note, I am only using this until Blade Tech comes out with one for the XDm 5.25--have nothing against CompTac either-I have several of their holsters and mag pouches. In fact I prefer their mag pouches over those of Blade Tech.

I use it in Limited-is there a problem there? Thanks

It is of course a little longer and does stick out a little as you can see in the photos. However, with the use of the retaining screws, it is 100% retained.

How much are the stock models selling for?

I recently purchased a DAN WESSON LIMITED EDITION 10MM RAZORBACK and it is beautiful. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet and may not. Supposed to be the last pistol produced of a limited run.

Very disappointing!! Expectations were high for an Iphone 5 and a lot of people I suspect are very unhappy right now. A lot of people are talking about switching to Android if the 5 didn't come out. The Nexus Prime is supposed to be the I-phone killer. Guess I will stick with the 4 and will have to be satisfied with the IOS5 update on October 12.

I am using the 5" Blade Tech XD Tactical holster-it's almost an exact fit. Will post photos later.

The 4th is already here-we're now waiting on the 5th!

Looks like some mistakes were made and some things were overlooked. Keep in mind this was the first IDPA World Shoot so let's cut the organizer's a little slack and hope they get it all right next year, if there is a next year. Please mail your comments, complaints, and suggestions to IDPA Headquarters so they can get it right next year.

I have both. The XDm is a little bit better balanced IMO. I didn't find much difference in the triggers-sent both to Springer Precision for trigger jobs. I also like the adjustable sight on the XDm-got rid of the FO for a black serrated Dawson .100. The match barrel is probably the biggest improvement over the XD Tactical. Of course one could also get a match barrel for the tactical.

Does anyone on the Forum own both a Safariland 013 competition holster and an XDm 5.25 9mm pistol? I would like to know if the holster will work with the XDm 5.25" 9mm. An educated guess will also work. Thanks

I didn't think so but didn't have a full description of the error-just had error 2000.

Do you happen to know if it's a Socket Error 2000? If so, "Socket Error 2000 This error generally occurs when port 21 is blocked on your computer. The port could be blocked by a firewall or a proxy server that has not been configured properly. Generally you'll see a log like this: STATUS:> Connecting to server xxx.xxx.x.xx (ip= xxx.xxx.x.xx)... ERROR:> Can't connect to remote server. Socket error = #2000. ERROR:> Timeout (60000ms). STATUS:> Waiting 30 seconds...... To avoid this error, open port 21 to inbound and outbound traffic. Most often a firewall (such as those from MacAfee, Norton or the built-in Windows XP firewall) is blocking inbound or outbound TCP traffic on port 21" If not, please post the full error.

Makes you wonder if they used SO's who weren't really SO's?

Try using tape/velco to build up the inside of the holster where it meets the belt.

Do you have any load data from your buddies yet?

Thanks for the info. Why did you choose Modified for your 'permanent' setting? I'm already in Open because I use a STS Red Dot.
