  1. Touch them up with some black shoe polish.
  2. Am looking for a quality AR15 tool(s) to work on my 2 AR15's (remove barrel nut, castle nut, etc). Have been checking some out-seems most will not work with the Magpul ASAP which I intend on installing on my AR15. Are there any that will work with the Magpul ASAP? Thanks in advance.
  3. Canyon Creek/Rich is a vendor here and you can contact him there or by PM. Check the vendors under Miscellaneous.
  4. Send it back to Springfield if you're not satisfied!!!
  5. Solo 1000, VV N320, and WST for the most popular powders for 9mm on this Forum
  6. I used to reload with a Lee Classic Turret and the Lee Pro Auto-Disk Powder Measure . I never had good luck with the Micro disc-always used the Lee Auto-Disk Adjustable Powder Charge Bar for small loads. Anyway have since moved on to the Dillon 550 and 650 and haven't had any problems with the Dillon Powder measure.
  7. Just ordered the book and accompanying 2 videos-book will be here tomorrow via Amazon. Hopefully the two videos will arrive next week-had to order them from another company.
  8. I don't think they are connected after looking at the picture-just appears they are connected. Of course, I could be wrong and stand to be corrected.
  9. Plus 1 to post from bassochist. I sold my Redding Competition Seating Die for the same reason-it kept moving never giving me an OAL I could live with
  10. Looks interesting. How's it supposed to work? Let me know when you have the drum perfected and I will buy one.
  11. You don't indicate which bullets you are reloading for your G17 but I suspect the ogive of the bullet is the culprit meaning you are going to have to shorten your OAL. Shorten it until the finished cartridge drops in and out of the chamber of your barrel freely.
  12. I just had a SA XDm 5.25 9mm converted to an Open model by Springer Precision-very nice job. However, I need to remove the rear sight in order to do a basic strip. It looks like there is a pin which needs to be removed-is that all that need to be done to remove the rear adjustable sight? Thanks
  13. That amount of variation is acceptable. However if it concerns you I would look into the Uniquetek Toolhead Clamp kit: http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/product/T1230 I have used it with some success on both of my 650's. YMMV
  14. Just deprime them first and then clean-only one pass!
  15. That's one job you couldn't pay me enough to do!!! Maybe they should use Trustees from the local jail-shave some time off their sentences?
  16. I will be buying a Sig P239 .40 S&W primarily for carry-it only comes with 1 magazine. Sig thinks their magazines are made of gold or some other precious metal. Are there any substitutes available? If not, cheapest place to buy them?
  17. Sorry to hear it. Can you provide some details on how you got it and what to look out for? Thanks
  18. Just a suggestion-you may want to drill some holes in order to stake the stand in case of wind.
  19. I have decided to purchased a T7 Turret to handle all jobs not currently relegated to my 550 and 650. I have questions regarding what type of powder measures can be used on this press other than Redding powder measures. I was specifically thinking of using a Lee Pro AutoDisk Powder measure but am not sure whether it will work with the T7. Will the T7 handle case-activated powder measures? How about the Dillon powder measure? Thanks
  20. What is the poundage of the stock recoil spring in the 5.25? Will the recoil springs for the XD/XDm fit in the 5.25? I checked with Wolff and they don't have anything for the 5.25 and don't plan on anything in the near future.
  21. Just got off of the phone with Dave-he advised me the best way to order it right now is thru Brownell's.
  22. I got the horsehide belt with the internal stiffener from "The Beltman" (http://thebeltman.net/horse.htm) and am very happy with it.
