  1. Thanks for the write-up. Will be looking forward to your next report.
  2. I recently purchased a Saiga 20-rd magazine from R&R and have been having nothing but problems since I got it. What normally happens is that when I load it with 20 I can get the first round off but the next round will not feed into chamber. I have found that if I load around 10 I won't have any feeding problems. Any suggestions or advice to solve this troublesome problem? Thanks in advance.
  3. According to the description from the CH4D website the File Trim Die is useful when a considerable amount of material needs to be trimmed off the top of a case after forming operations. The case is run completely into the die, and what projects out of the top of the die can be sawed off and/or filed smooth. So can I use these same dies to trim factory ammo that I've shot and now need to trim it back to specs?
  4. I am contemplating buying the Dillon trimmer for .223 and 300 Blackout. Brian advises me that Dillon doesn't make a trim die for the 300 Blackout. Does any other company make a trim die for 300 Blackout? Thanks
  5. I recently won the Elite 10mm Wonder Finish Compact in an online auction. I haven't been able to find much information on this pistol online. I did read it could be converted to other calibers with a conversion kit. Is this correct? Would I also have to buy 9mm magazines with the conversion kit? Are aftermarket wood grips available for this model? Thanks
  6. The OAL for the Hornady looks very short-like for a 9mm load. You may want to recheck it.
  7. Haven't used it yet but have a drop-down leg pouch I bought.
  8. If you're going to be shooting production I would at least get 4 minium-6 max for the match.
  9. Powder Valley and Graf's are two online retailers used by members of this forum.
  10. I would look at the loads for Alliant Power Pro 300-MP. This is a new powder from Alliant especially made for large magnum pistols like the .454 Casul. Here's one for the Speer 300g GDHP: Min OAL: 1.75, Barrel length: 7.5", Primer-Federal 205M, Powder-300MP; Grains-31; Velocity-1741 fps.
  11. Dillon carrys some powder but don't know if they have an 8-lb jug of HS-6. Sportsman's Warehouse-is it still open in Phoenix? Scottsdale Gun Club-don't know whether they carry any powder or not. How about the ranges in the Phoenix area? Bass Pro Shop? I'm sure others who actually live in the area will chip in
  12. Actually you can also shoot .45 Colt in your pistol and you have a lot of flexibility in the .45 Colt loads.
  13. Blade-tech makes holsters for the FNP-9--don't know if they would fit the FNS-9. This the the striker-version of the FN9 and is very new. I would call FNH and ask them if it is the same as the FNP9 frame-wise.
  14. One of my pet peeves for the longest time has been shoelaces that alway break at the wrong time. The other thing about shoe laces that drove me crazy was that the ends would start to fray and make it almost impossible to thread them. I can no longer complain. Old Kooks shoe laces are hands down the best shoelaces I have ever used. They how have metal ends which make it easy to thread and don't wear out. They also last "forever" without breaking-I haven't had a pair break on me yet. And even better news, they are now available on Amazon. And no, I don't get a kickback/commission for touting them.
  15. I think Doug Carden case rolls his ammo but you would have to contact him to make sure. Of course he sells ammo-not sure if he sells brass.
  16. Go a little bit shorter to 1.075 or even 1.070 and see if that makes a difference.
  17. Don't think you need to get that short on the OAL. I shoot 147g Precisions using 3.7g of VV N320 with a 1.125 OAL without any trouble.
  18. Sounds like you may need to reduce the OAL a little more until it drops in the champer with no resistance. What bullets are you using and what pistol are you using?
  19. Just call them Monday-they'll probably send you some free.
  20. MIght be what is accounting for all of those new zombies appearing all at once?
  21. To Unregistered, Just wondering if what you say applies to those already dead and buried?
  22. Can I use the AR-15 magazines for the 300 blackout cartridges or do the mags have to be modified? If modified, what is the modification required? Thanks
  23. This book is currently available on Amazon for those who wish to order it-$22.95
