Is anybody making this ammo right now? I know Atlanta Arms used to make and sell it but guess they no longer do so. Not sure about DC Ammo right now.

Sometimes the flat-nosed bullets don't feed well due to their shape.

One more question regarding 9x23 ammunition. I am contemplating having a 9x23 barrel w/comp made for the 9mm Open Gun I just purchased from a forum member. I was advised that I would need a 170mm .38 Super Magazine for the 9x23 ammunition-is this correct? Will the 9x23 ammo work in these magazines? Where's the best source to buy one (or more)? Thanks

I would look at changing to a different powder that meters better than Unique which has a tendency to bridge while being dispensed. Unique is a "flake" powder. Look for "ball" powders which meter more consistently than "flake" powders.

Yea, it's been some time since he changed his name to World Peach-at least since last season, maybe longer.

There is no standard modus operandi. The terms are made between you and the seller and can vary widely as far as payment, etc is concerned. I have never been burned by any seller here on BE Forum-it is a great place to buy and sell!!!!

I installed an 18-lb 1911 spring back in May, 2012 and everything worked fine at that time. Forward to last week-bolt wouldn't pick up the next round-could I already need a new spring? I hadn't made any changes since that time-in fact hadn't shot it since June. Was using the same ammo--#4 birdshot. Will check the gas piston area and order a few 1911 recoil springs.

Went to a local 3-gun match yesterday with my Saiga 12 (prepared by JT Engineering). Since it worked fine the last time I took it to a match didn't forsee any problems-Was I wrong!!! Anyway I was using Remington #4 Birdshot so it wasn't a problem with a weak load. After the first shot the bolt wouldn't pick up another shell from the magazine. I was using both a 12-rd mag and a 20-rd R&R magazine with which I had no previous problems. I had recently changed the spring to a 1911 spring. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I am using the Lee FCD with my 650 and haven't had any of the problems you describe. YMMV
