  1. Why not keep the 1911 and buy the XDs too?
  2. Sounds like it's a good powder-can't comment on the age of the powder. I'm sure you'll get some additional comments
  3. Check out this thread: http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?8266-T-32-powder
  4. Paul, Yes, that is probably true. I got caught without any primers, powder, etc before the 2008 election. Afterwards I vowed never again and have been buying primers, powder, and bullets regularly since and now don't have to worry about panic buyers, shortages, etc.
  5. Contact Daniel at Dawson Precision-he should be able to help you find the correct sight.
  6. Anyone here familiar with Brass Monkey Performance? I have a gift certificate I would like to redeem but can never reach anyone on the phone and no one returns phone calls.
  7. Yea, just placed an order with Doug for 1500 which of course will come thru UPS!!!
  8. Cheaper to mail via Flat Rate USPS packaging. Wonder why shipper even used UPS?
  9. Wonder if UPS opened the package? Maybe the package burst due to the heavy weight exposing the contents?
  10. Try this link: http://www.powerfactorshooting.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=belt+keeper&Search.x=0&Search.y=0
  11. Sarge, You have a good point. However Taran must have his reasons for liking the plastic ones. Will check with him and see what he says about it.
  12. Does anyone know where I can find these spacers? Dawson Precision only has the metal spacers and Taran tells me the plastic ones are better. I called STI and they won't sell to me. Dawson says it will take 8 weeks to get them from STI. Thanks
  13. Here's a 22" I found on GB: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=319714350
  14. Here are the additional instructions received from Saul this AM: " I think you just need to push harder on the screws. The 8mm screws provided with the pouches ARE certainly long enough. Make sure the ball on the inside of the hanger is correctly in place! It should not be protruding into the belt space at all! If it is – first loosen the screws which hold the ball in place – push it forward to it is seated all the way into its pocket – and then the belt opening will be clear and you should have no problem assembling."
  15. Yes, that's about it but instead of a rubber mallet I used an anvil with a swivel vise to get it done.
  16. I was finally able to get the pouches installed on the belt-I had to use a anvil w/swivel vise to get the belt close enough to the belt hangar to insert the small screws!!!
  17. So I was going to put the new DAA Racemaster Pouches on my DAA belt this evening and almost immediately got stymied. The instructions indicate to position the pouch on the belt and push firmly so the belt fits onto it's groove. What groove are they referring to? Do I have the wrong belt for these mag pouches? There is a "ball" on the section of the belt hangar that prevents the belt from fitting in the belt hangar. I don't see any way the belt is going to fit in the belt hangar unless of course I have the wrong belt. Thanks
  18. I don't think you are going to need 5-lbs of steel media for only about 200 .223 casings.
  19. You can find the drills in his books and you can find the books on the Brian Enos webstore.
  20. I think he's talking about VV N340 but if I'm wrong he'll let us know.
  21. Try this link: http://www.blade-tech.com/Speed-Rig-D-OS-Holster-pr-1314.html
  22. Blade-Tech makes a holster for the TS-not sure if this is the way you want to go tho
