  1. If I'm not mistaken the barry's website recommends using the "lead" powder charge. There coating is softer than fmj. Don't know ifn I missed anything in the posts but it might help.
  2. Thanks for the pics. For all the BIG guns out there, newbies need pickers to "s h o w" how to place a hand or finger or eyes. They help a bunch. So thank you very much for the pictures on how to grip a pistol.
  3. sounds like one eye is stronger than the other. Just rely on the dominant eye when aiming.
  4. Just remember: theres the "right way", the "wrong way", "YOUR way", "my way" and "their way". If YOUR way works i.e. feels good, doesn't hurt and allows you to hit the target accurately none of the others matter. Just my opinion.
  5. Don't forget the 1st Sat is Palmetto Gun Club in Charleston! Didn't know their was a "Palmetto Gun Club" really have to get out from in front of this computer. Will have to check it out. Right now do all of my shooting at ATP's indoor range. Time to goolge (between "wall drills") and check out the gun club. Thanks for the info! ajb
  6. Just to try and get the group size down. 3, 5 and 7yds are great! One hole, a little bigger one hole, and 1.5-2in. Much beyound that ant these old tired eyes . . . . .
  7. Sori to jump in, but it makes sense to me and might even help get the shakes out. When u roll them forward it's like reaching beyond your reach and in my case causes me to shake. I just tried putting them where they belong and not near as much shake. thanks!
  8. Just a short post to say hello and a little about me. started shooting in a country/time far, far away (Panama/1970) Quit shooting in 1975. Started again may 7, 2008. Picked up this forum from mp-pistol.com (very highly recommended) From what I've checked out so far, deffinately an A+
