  1. Not sure how 23 + 1 is lacking with Springer Precision extension with Grams follower, other than no last round slide lock. Yeah it's nice to use M&P or Glock mags and not have to change the follower, but not a huge deal.
  2. Good luck, hope it works for you.
  3. Internal clearance for most thread protectors. Option for open muzzle available. Will not fit any muzzle device wider than gun slide. Will NOT FIT TandemKross Game Changer Pro Compensator with closed muzzle! Get the version with the open muzzle, it's one of the drop-down options at the bottom. It fits any comp that's not wider than the slide. I have the Game Changer, the angled one, it's not wider than the slide. Not sure about the regular Game Changer, I have on on a Ruger, I'll measure it and see.
  4. https://www.forgedtecholsters.com/store/p110/Outside_the_Waistband_Holster_for_the_Taurus_TX22_Competition.html#/ I have a TX22 Competition, but don't have the holster, though it looks like a standard kydex holster
  5. Just gotta file the follower where it engages the slide stop. I went too far and have no slide lock on empty mag, but not a big issue for me.
  6. I have three with Grams follower/spring, two Springer extensions, one Taylor Freelance. All fit the gauge, though the Springer fits with a hair more room. Springer holds 23 easily reloadable. The TF requires you to really want to seat it for it to lock in with 23 rounds in it All work fine in the gun with 23 rounds in them. They started life as Mech Gar 18 round mags
  7. 23 easily reloadable with Springer Precision extensions and Grams spring/follower, and fits the USPSA mag gauge with room to spare. Got a Taylor Freelance extension that also gets 23 reloadable, but it's a bit more work to get it to seat on a closed slide. I've read mixed reviews on Springer extensions, but every time I've used them, they work, allow max rounds in mag, and fit the gauge. Can't say that for TTI on a Sig P320 21 round mag extension. Won't fit the gauge. Added benefit, the SP extensions are usually less expensive than TTI or TF.
  8. Tripp Research is my favorite. They hold mine rounds, they work, and they last. Every other .40 S&W 1911 mag I've used required massaging to get it to work. Checkmate mags are ok, but at some point (sooner rather than later) you end up replacing the springs and followers with Tripp stuff. Tripp mags are also pretty affordable, especially compared to WC units.
  9. Yeah, sometimes if I'm not laughing at my performance, I'd be crying about it.
  10. I've seen that happen, and felt guilty for laughing (quietly) at the cat it happened to.
  11. I've never found one that works as well as the one that comes with the Leupold Delta point Pro. Most fall off the dot so easily they're nothing more than range sacrifices.
  12. Yeah, I get that, but in the past ammo that worked in my Glocks and other plastic guns worked fine in the M&P, which is why is surprised me that the Precision Bullets were not chambering. They're the newer version of their coated bullets, and other than not chambering in known short chambers (CZ) and the M&P, they run great. they do seem to have a long straight section before the curve to the round nose (ogive?). I'm actually more upset that the S&W barrel coating wouldn't allow the throating reamer to "correct" the situation. Guessing when I reload 9mm ammo again, I'll shorten it to run in the CZ and M&P barrels, just cause that's the easiest solution to the issue.
  13. I have one of the old Ed Brown 8 Pack mags that works with every magwell but the Dawson Ice. Not sure if it has the same dimensions as the magazine you're talking about.
  14. Recently started using 124g Precision Bullets in my M&P9 (2.0), and discovered they won't chamber fully. Same rounds chambered in a Gen 5 Glock 17, Beretta 92 Brigadier and 92X Performance, Colr 9mm NMGC, Springfield Armory 9mm 1911 with Kart barrel, Sig P320 Max and Canik TP9SFX. Also wouldn't chamber in a Shadow 2. Not even close, OAL is 1.12", not especially long. Fortunately it's an Apex barrel, so it throated with no issues, but the stock barrel originally in the gun, and in the other M&P9 probably ruined my throating reamer. It just bounced off the rifling, cutting nothing. Whatever they coat those barrels with at the S&W factory is hard stuff. The rounds shot great out of the guns they chamber in, just wish such a normal OAL worked in every gun.
  15. I'll be working the Classic, but I'm keeping the target.
  16. They fit fine on my mags, but getting the mags to fit into the USPSA guage was another story. Springer Precision basepads fit fine on the mags, and fit fine in the guage. And with the Grams followers & springs, the Springer basepad mags held 23 + 1 and seated in the gun much easier. Added bonus, the Springer basepad are about $10.00 cheaper.
  17. Should fit in any holster designed for M9A1 - M9A4 (essentially any holster for a railed 92 series gun). Unless you're talking about the RDO gun, where you need a tall front sight tunnel.
  18. Yeah, making a frame for it and it'll be hanging in the cave.
  19. That's the thought that came to my mind (tiebreaker making more sense). Question on the head A/B in the A box, does that mean A in the rectangle inside the head, then B in the rest of the head?
  20. If he didn't lead with "Don't be a pain", you might have a point. I was nothing but respectful and inquisitive prior to that. And frankly, all I told him to do was lighten up, hardly disrespectful considering his remark. Good day Sir.
  21. Lighten up Ace, I was asking questions, not arguing or debating points. Sheesh.
  22. Cool info, thanks for digging it up. The target in the pic has a border, the pic of the one I posted doesn't. And why is the head "A" box labeled "A/B"? Thanks. G
  23. I don't get the little perforated circles with the "C" in the same size and font as the zone enumerators. I sort of get a "C" zone inside the "D" zone theoretically, some bonus maybe. I know that's not it's purpose, but logically it makes sense, at least more sense than a "C" zone inside the "B" zone. I don't get a "C" zone inside the "B" zone at all, what, a penalty for hitting a random spot?. Neither of the two options (multiple copyright symbols or a "C" zone inside the "B" or "D" zone) makes sense to me. Thanks.
  24. Why have two separate copyright notices on a target? I'm not saying you're wrong, it just seems odd that there would be two copyright notices on a single target, unless the copyright notice is for the text following it on the target and not the target itself.
  25. And check out the rounded shoulders.
