  1. Do a Win7 clean install. Then get a MacBook Air. Best of both worlds =)
  2. Only if they played on the Terrorist side of Counter-Strike to earn this badge http://www.scouting.org/scoutsource/cubscouts/awards/boys/sanda/video_games.aspx
  3. darnit! now i'm day dreaming about two xtrema2 blasting away at hip level.
  4. I used sight-back for the rear, and thinned down the front sight. I also painted the white dot on the front sight with flat black scale model paint and glued a small fake diamond sticker for a pretend FO.
  5. do have an arc mainspring housing? Helps make the two guns have similar grip angle for me. My 1911 is an airsoft i use for practice and my real gun is a glock, doesn't bother me.
  6. I'm waiting for someone to ask "How come you score higher than me? We have the same sights." just so that I can reply, "We'll did you buy your sights from Alpharetta? EDIT: Title suppose to say The fact that my "winning shooting accessories" comes from Alpharetta
  7. vdownloader.com just have to use the latest version or it'll freeze up or give weird error messages.

    Too Big

Haha, you mean he didn't try to "engineer" a way to replace the rj45 jack with a rj11 then go to your network room and punch the other end of the network cable into an analog punch-block? Then tried to dial up before asking for help? Like a real engineer would do?
  9. At our indoor matches, one of the members mounted a flashlight/hatlight to his baseball cap. The FO still doesn't glow, but it brights out the black a lot. Especially if you have sight-black or that Warren/Sevigny finish.
  10. I really wanted a Twinkie after the movie. and was paranoid enough to take my carry gun with me to the restroom.
  11. They look sexy. Do they weigh a lot though? I couldn't find info on their site.
  12. You're right, I tried them today with a Wolff 4LB striker spring, and can't shoot a whole mag straight without failure. Switched back to the stock spring and they worked fine.
  13. I filed the bottom of the rear sight, then used a mallet to bang it in from right to left. Then used a brass punch for the rest of the way. I somehow lost the set screws, but didn't really need. 6-32 thread.
  14. Double Alphas +1, Stays on the belt where you tighten the screw, no Velcro needed. but the ball swivel gets loose though, like others have said above.
  15. my first press, so it's quick and simple.
  16. I have no idea. I have never tryed this. I have picked up thousands of shot bullets that the coating is still intact. I guess my other question would be; Why would you drive a bullet through the barrel with a wooden dowel? If you want to slug a barrel, you should use a soft slug so it can deform to the exact contour of the barrel. Later Tom Just wanted to see what does the Glock's polygonal rifling looks like, and I didn't have soft slug. I'm in the "new gun excitement" phase right now.=) That makes sense. Thanks.
  17. Out of curiosity, I hammered a 147gr. 9mm moly bullet from Black Bullets International down my stock Glock 19 barrel with a wooden dowel. And was surprised to see that the coat came off and exposed the lead where it contact the barrel. I was just wondering if that's normal. I assumed that because the FAQ on BBI and Precisions warned about being careful not to shave off the coat during reloading, that the coat wasn't suppose to come off? Thanks.
  18. Welcome to Texas! I'm 4 hours south of you though -in Houston.
  19. When did you purchase your primers, and what is the lot number (printed on the bottom of the tray/box)? I've gone through as many as 200 of them without a misfire, but never more than 300 (I bought 10K of them in a panic when I found 'em in stock at Widener's). Seating them really hard seems to improve things, but never gets me to 100% reliability. 99% of the duds go bang on the 2nd strike, though. I've only had one out of the 3K I've used so far that hasn't gone bang even on the 3rd strike. My loads are exclusively for Smith & Wesson M&P .40 cal, a Compact and a FS. Never a problem with Federal or Winchester factory ammo, and I ran at least 1K factory rounds through both guns before I started reloading. I bought them in December 09. Lot 17-09
  20. I got my spp from wideners. They're silver and so far I went through 200 of them flawless with a stock striker spring glock19
  21. oh awesome, i was missing the "view new post" button too. Thanks.
  22. When you schedule your college classes so that it doesn't conflict with your local weekly club matches.
  23. lol i did the same thing. I just wanted to make sure i have some .380 auto to feed the gun before i bought the sig. it would sucks to spend $400 and not have ammo -anyone seen Book of Eli?. I also bought a few boxes of 9mm cause it was "on sale", then it seems like a waste of money if i didn't have a glock to go with it. =) Then it seems such a waste to have a couple guns that i might use in once in a lifetime for self-defense, so i got hooked into club matches =(
