I've been pondering about this. I'm stuck whether to get STI trojan or build a custom 1911. What are your thoughts on this? I just want to play with single stack division. Thanks.

1/16 should be good. For heavier bullet you need to use a faster twist rate. I use 1/16 for 115 gr and I had no problems with accuracy. Thanks!

Got the casefeeder, 650 tool kit, strong mount, pick up tubes, aluminum roller handle, and powder funnel today. Still waiting for the 650 press for 38sc and .40 dies.

Placed my order for 650 press for 38sc, case feeder small pistol, .40 dies, strong mount, primer pick up tubes, powder funnel on 5-17-13 thru Brian. Then decided to add aluminum roller handle, and tool set for 650 on 5-20-13 thru Brian again. Let see how long it will takes.

Jim shanahan did my grips before. I believe I sent him a trace of my hand. He did an awesome work with my grip. He reduced it that it fit so well to my hands and stipple and painted it. He knows what he's doing! Well worth it!

It's a 164mm. Use to own one. I like it though. I kinda regret selling mine. You can use 7mm pad on that one. It's quite reliable too.

Saw that one but that's full dust and not single stack div legal. I'm trying to decide whether to get the standard frame for 1911 or the range master frame.
