see no one beats me, ok if you do beat me they’ll say so what he’s old . But if I do beat you they’ll say wow you let that old man beat You . I’ll keep on till I can’t keep ON. -

Long time friend and great gunsmith Al Mcginn passed away before Christmas. I knew Al, probably 25 years, while he did not shoot competition he was a good friend . Worked at local gun store, could make a SW trigger feel like butter. I already miss you pal.

My favorite Revo for pins was my 8 3/8 Mo. 27 with a Baumanize 7 shot cylinder. We shot 230 full wadcutter logs out of 38 special cases at 950fps. That was the shizzle. Next up was the 625 with either 255 or 230 grain bullets. The 90s were the heyday for Pins. Second Chance, the Dixon range in Waterloo, IA, Topton,PA, Ontelaunee, PA, and Garden City, KS were some of my favorite matches.
That’s about where mine were, 230 gr. Lincoln logs. But had to watch overall length, they were long

way current $1000 guns run on regular 9mm ammo, a 4k gun is nothing but a fashion statement. Hey if u like it ,, but If I had 4k to dump in LO , Id buy a 1k gun a 1k load of ammo, and 1k worth of training and practice,,, take the other 1k and spend it on hookers and blow.|
I like how you think

Every thing wears out at some point ,( I’ve been using my 650 a lot , not so much lately ) was bought in 2005 . Can’t even guess how many thousands lt has loaded . Maybe you got steel that was not processed in factory right, who knows. I’ve replaced some parts but never a shell plate. But it could happen.

I am all alone with this suggestion but also try 7.2 to 7.8grs of Hog Longshot. The load difference is if you have any popple holes.
I tried longshot, it turned into loud shot. Never got it to work.

Don’t do it, if you have doubts don’t do it.

Probably right.

Watch his latest video , you can see it, but it may be part of takedown lever.
