Has anyone ever had an issue with their magazines not dropping free after installing these magwells?

I know this is an old thread, but I am going through this scope mount process right now myself for the millet DMS-1. The Larue is out of the question due to price, so I'm looking at the Armalite one peice, and this Burris. http://www.swfa.com/pc-14263-2735-burris-a...cope-mount.aspx Has anyone used this one yet? If so, how was it?

Just FYI, we drop the slides on empty chambers of all our Berreta M9's hundreds of time a year with no problems. The one I was issued is 9 years old and hasn't had any cracks or parts replaced yet. But there is not alot in common with our M9's and an uber $ tuned race gun. After reading this thread I'll likely not do it to my own weapons anymore, just in case, Lol.

I did the same thing, I think it was four times during my first match...My wifes LT was there to witness it and has been talking crap ever since, Lol.

I went through the same thought process recently and ended up only getting two. Mainly because funds were limited and I figure that's all I needed per stage. I plan on getting 2-3 more in a few paydays so I have enough incase of malfunction/broken parts. Once I have more I most likely won't carry any stock ones just so everything is the same during reloads.

What is a 35 "Stealth"?

The new mags should fit previous models, but the old mags may not fit the new model with ambi mag release. I guess it would depend which side you had the release on though I'm not sure. This is all a guess though I don't know for sure...

What is bull nose? I've heard of pig nose, but not bull nose. Are they the same?

Safety, we don't need any stinking mechanical safeties! Besides after this long I would forget to take it off...

My Christmas gift to myself was a G17 as well... My limited gun is a 35 so all I did was order a few magazines and matching sights and done!

I stand corrected. What passes for my brain must be working off from old information. Probably thinking about SA XDs not being in that class.

You guys don't know how lucky you are...We only have one a month in my area(during the summer), which is the only match within 6 hours. I try to shoot about twice a week with two dry fire sessions in between. Sometimes living in Alaska sucks!!!

So how long do you think it will be fo the M&P 40L/Pro? The wife wants her own limited gun and I want to play with it too, hehe.

Yeah no doubt, you should have seen the pit stains on my shirt...Man I was nervous!

Sunday was my first match... Don't ask me how my fully loaded magazines fell out of my pistol three times...Talk about embarassing!!! But then two guys thought they would take the spotlight away from me by getting DQ'd for safety violations.

Is this the reason for all of the XD sales that have been going on the last month or so?
