  1. It sounds like you have the same pistol I have. Love it. My OL is 1.155 and I load my MG 124 JHP with 7.9 grs. oh HS-6, for a PF of 167. I was going to bump the load a little, until Powder Valley got in 8 lb. jugs of AutoComp. I'm glad your using a chrono.
  2. Is this a common problem with all 22-45 Rugers, or just the 'Lite' version?
  3. There is a chance of rain Saturday, but you will shoot under a tent. You might consider an umbrella for walking to the stages.
  4. My EDC is a G36, in a Blade-Tec IWB holster. In probably 8 months, I'm starting to see some wear on each side of the front portion of the slide. I know it's NBD, but I'm thinking of letting Mod1 Cerakote it.
  5. Hey people, I'm working stage 2 in the AM, I'd like to meet you.
  6. FYI, I purchased a Kimber .22 conversion for my two Sentry 1911's. On the .45 it would not go on completely, it was extremely tight on the frame. So I mounted it on my 9mm Sentry. It went on and was very smooth, but I couldn't get the frame pin thru. I called Kimber, and was told there was no guarantee of fit except on a Kimber. They would not let me return it. So I contacted Cabela's and they accepted my return.
  7. Hello people on 9.21.13, the Blue Grass Sportsmen League is hosting the Kentucky State Ruger Rimfire Challenge Match. http://www.bgslinc.com/modules.php?name=BGSL_News&file=fullnews&news_id=212 (Stages at the bottom) Latest update. Stages will be staffed 9-4. Participants must be registered by 2:00pm. You do NOT have to use Ruger firearms, just .22's. This is a match where the shooter will shoot 3 rifle stages and 3 pistol stages at steel targets. Rules here: http://www.ruger.com/micros/rugerRimfire/rules.html
  8. From reading thru this, it sounds like friendship is more important that safety.
  9. Exactly why I sold my two Sentry's. My Glock 34 works best for me in Limited. The G21 and G22 are perfect (for me) in Production, and my Zev G17, I'm still working up a load for Open. For me, Glocks rock.
  10. Speaking for myself, except for a very few things, I can install most of what you listed, without paying a Gunsmith big bucks.
  11. Absolutely! Check the photos here. http://www.glockworx.com/Content.aspx?PAGE=Gallery
  12. At the Ohio Sectional on stage nine, I had failed to use my hearing protection. I made two shots, then stopped. I reloaded my mag, and later shot the stage.
  13. The information on this thread is awesome, but it's mostly for 2011's. I have a G34 that I'm setting up for Limited/L10. I'd like to grind off the finger ridges, and then stipple that area. Will I have a problem in that area?
  14. I've shot several thousand Bayou Bullets in my G21. Both 230 gr. and 200 gr. SWC. Clean, very clean.
  15. Earlier this week, they posted they were shipping orders for powder placed the first week in August. It seems to me, 3 days is a great improvement.
  16. We are currently processing orders within 3 days of order placement. Finally!
  17. Yep, I used to shoot CDP with my G21, with 200 gr. SWC. The G21 is a very versatile pistol.
  18. I was checking a load for my Open pistol this morning and I had a thought. Why find the average of 10 or 20 rds., when at a level II or higher, they only Chrono 3 rds. What I think would be better is, only use the lower reading as the Power Factor. What am I missing?
  19. 10 rds. for the game of IDPA.
  20. They http://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/STI-Magazine-126mm-Carry-STD-Grip-Flush-P794.aspx have one. and 8 of these http://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/STI-Magazine-126mm-Carry-10-Round-P795.aspx
  21. Just wondering, what mags will you use for .40?
  22. The manufacturer is responsible for doing this. They have to produce 2,000 of that specific model and caliber.
