Yes, Thanks to everyone that came out and for R.O. support for our first USPSA match at Caswell Ranch, I hope all had a good time. The next match should be a blast with Texas Stars in play along with some interesting walls, ports etc, I'm not a big fan of using too many toys in a match so for the most part the matches will be shooter against shooter not shooter against toys. Again Thank You. Regards, Dean PS Thanks John and Mel for helping pull this together. I'm having Bev check the classifier scores again before they go in.

Sept USPSA will be second Sunday, most people are asking me to change to 3rd Saturday. -
Comp III's are easy to mod also, I found I can mod them just as fast if not faster than the Jetloaders. Regards, Dean

2010 Georgia IDPA Championship
DBrevit replied to Samuel Adams's topic in Revolver Match Announcements and Discussions
Yep and Buckland is an old Italian name -
Comp III's or Jetloaders, I use CompIII's because of the shroud over the spring, I put a strip of skateboard tape on the shroud step.

New USPSA match in NC
DBrevit replied to John Z Sr's topic in Match Announcements - Pistol Only - USPSA, IPSC & Misc.
Glock3422,(Harry) There is a match every weekend in NC, I would be in conflict with somebody no matter what, being that it's a USPSA match not an IDPA match my thoughts were that it would not affect Frank or any IDPA shooter, my own shedule has a match of some type at Caswell Ranch every weekend and I set my IDPA matches to not conflict with Franks IDPA matches just as I set the USPSA match to not conflict with another local USPSA match. 2011 it may be changed to the second Saturday, we will see how it goes and how many people would like it on Saturday not Sunday. -
Caswell Ranch REVO style
DBrevit replied to John Z Sr's topic in Revolver Match Announcements and Discussions
Hi John, We are running CM99-08, CM99-10, CM99-11 and CM99-21 along with two stages in the 20ish rounds (24/8ish), classifiers are easy ones, this is ment to be a test match for use of score program etc. Anyway, any other classifier stages that people would like to shoot just let me know, nothing is on the ground yet. -

Hi Johnbh, .38spl shooting SSR and if you ever want to shoot ESR you can run the same gun, same speedloaders and just bump the power factor up and use .357mag or 200g .38spl loaded to major (yes, a safe load is out there). A local shooter and real nice guy Chris Roper shot 10K rounds of .357 through his GP-100, this was before the SSR/ESR split.
-
Go ahead and jump in, the GP-100 is a good gun, front sight is a quick change and if you like a fiber sight get the Hi-Viz from Ruger, not as easy as a Smith to tune but not real hard ether. Regards, Dean

Hi All, Looked at the 2010 rule book and info is not there, at a monthly match(level 1) how many classifier stages can be run, looks like one but on page 54 (I think) it is listed but notes (1) (2) in the old book it said what (1) (2) was but not anymore, I'm holding a small match before the main monthly matches start to work out the score program etc and the talk is to hold some classifier stages to help new shooters get it done and some others that are a few short, looking to put together 4 plus two stages.
-
Just can't stay off revolver, changed my press over to .38spl last night, will be running SSR at the Patriot Cup. Anyone else going (revoler that is). Blueridge, I found a few more .45lc I'll hold for ya. Dean (Caswell Ranch) Squadra Italiana
