  1. Call Springfield first. If they can't get a response, they should be the ones to contact the Feds. At this point your only involvement is financial and that is between you and the CC company. Nolan
  2. Many years ago, one of the local clubs brought out ALL of their steel for a shotgun match. The reason excuse was to knock off all the rust and paint, then repair any damaged steel. Expensive way to media blast your steel, but it was a lot of fun. Nolan
  3. Arrendondo makes this "Mag Well Safety Plug" I've heard both legal/not legal for USPSA Multigun. Some 3-gun matches allow it, some don't. I just stick with regular flags. Nolan

  5. I agree the primer pockets are a clean as brand new...IF you decap before tumbling. Lube still helps because that same level of clean that causes the cases to grab the powder expander die and make them 'POP' coming off the expander can cause the same thing with primers and if the primer pocket hole is a little tight to start with...'POP'! Nolan
  6. Shot weight is somewhat more important than velocity. 1 oz slug or birdshot will probably need to be over 1300fps in the cold if the gun is not well broken in and lubed. Nolan
  7. Walmart super target with the steel case or super target with the brass case? 1145fps 1-1/8oz should be hot enough to fully cycle the 1301. How new, how many rounds fired? Temperature? Lube? Gas system, piston and exterior of magazine tube absolutely NO lube. As Alaskapopo posted try some other ammo, the cheap Winchester stuff is somewhat inconsistent, the brass cased ammo is much more consistent. If the gun is brand new try several boxes of 1200 or 1250 1-1/8oz ammo and re-try the lighter ammo. If no go, measure the wire diameter of the gas valve spring on the barrel. If the wire diameter is smaller than 3.3mm, there are two fixes. Replace the spring with the heavier spring from the 1301 Tac, p/n C95447 or install the A400 gas valve spacer p/n C5g164. The weaker spring lets too much gas through the gas valve and the gun won't cycle light ammo. https://www.practical-shotgun.com/543 https://www.practical-shotgun.com/beretta-blink-spring-update Unfortunately changing the spring or installing the spacer are a pain in the butt requiring a special valve spring compression tool and spanner wrench. Here's my post about the spring compressor I hacked together. https://forums.brianenos.com/topic/270212-gas-valve-spring-compressor-for-1301/?do=findComment&comment=3172957 Nolan
  8. Looks just like my 930 looked when I bought it. I think Mossberg runs a full tube of ammo through it, packs it up without cleaning it and ships it. Nolan
  9. If the rounds feed OK at 1.18, why load shorter? I run my .40 loads at 1.20" OAL as that length feeds best in my guns. My recommendation would be to go back to the length that works best in your gun. Nolan
  10. Patents are long expired, no issues with that. Import paperwork, getting distributors, etc... and competing against the dozen+ other boutique 2011 builders is the issue. Nolan
  11. I love that sh...stuff, my shoulder, not so much! At one local I had to reshoot a stage 3 times because the bloody rickety spinner fell apart on the first hit with Prairie Storm. Eventually I just used some 1250fps #7 and double tapped the bottom plate, then one on the top at the back swing. Ounce and a quarter, heavy game loads work almost as well and are a lot cheaper. Nolan
  12. Quoted from the USPS(A?) email Results are in for the Presidential and Area 6 Elections The results are in for the Presidential and Area 6 Elections. Congratulations to Yee-min Lin for winning the Presidential election and Ben Berry for winning the Area 6 Director election. The start date for each will be January 1, 2024 unless the Board of Directors decides otherwise. Nolan
  13. Don't spray the rounds, just a single quick shot of Rem oil into the Cliploader feed slot about midway of the exposed slot, then dump the rounds into the loader. I usually only put as many rounds into the loader as I'm going to immediately load into the magazines. 10+(?) years of using the Cliploader without any problems. This warning is on the loader webpage Nolan
  14. IIRC Rob Leatham is left handed, but is right eye dominant and shoots right handed as per the rule above. Nolan
  15. Yes, you have to loosen all 4 allen screws. Yes, you will probably need to apply heat. I use a micro torch like this to soften thread locker. It only takes a couple seconds to soften the thread locker. https://www.amazon.com/Refillable-Soldering-Adjustable-Versatile-Included/dp/B0B5RKWNMS/ref=sr_1_1_sspa? Nolan
  16. I think 80+ one liners only count if you're Henny Youngman or Rodney Dangerfield. Nolan
  17. Almost all of the modern CAD programs have an auto/smart exploded view function, usually in less than 3 mouse clicks and with smart explode lines sketch in less than 6 clicks. Failure to have exploded views is generally the marketer not requiring one from the third party engineering firm doing the design work. Nolan
  18. Howdy, smile when ya' say that pardner! I was born in Kansas, which as we say, is a good state......to be FROM. I'm living is Commierfornia now and my pronouns are F U. Which reminds me of back in my school daze I ran track and competed against, I kid you not, Friends University of Central Kansas. First track meet they showed up for, we about died laughing, until the starter's pistol went off. Those guys were off like a shot (excuse the pun), man they could run. Must have been all that clean livin'. I start all my work emails with the salutation "Howdy" just because it irritates some of the woke even though it's a nice gender non-specific greeting. Nolan
  19. Which WD40? There are several different WD40 Specialist flavors. Nolan
  20. LOL! I wonder how many read your post and immediately check their profile? Nolan Off to check my profile.
  21. My newest Dillon buzzer, 3 years old is still the ZF D42LR1AA switch. The ZF switch is obsolete, but still available several places online. I've fixed at least one old one with either the Omron VX-5-1C23 switch or the CK TFCFH8VP0040C. I don't remember which. I've used them interchangeably on other projects and had one on hand at the time. Nolan
  22. Interesting, from recent posts from PSI it appears a recent new board member in the 'Finance Committee' has been denied access to historical financial data. The Org has somehow misplaced(?) a 7 figure sum of money and the new member of the 'Finance Committee' is asking how/what/where? Has there been a second another(?) sexual harassment lawsuit that is being covered up like the KW lawsuit? Nolan
