  1. http://www.guncontrolmorecrime.com/ Who will go and show your support?
  2. I was looking for the same answer just yesterday. You beat me to posting.
  3. Make sure your thumb is not holding it down while shooting. I have the same prob shooting glocks due to my 1911 grip hold

  5. TThanks for the replies. The problem is more with on coming lights but street lights bother her a lot too. She will be going to the Dr very soon.
  6. CERAKOTE is my vote. Look on YouTube for Cerakote durability or test. They do an abrasive test on the most population finishes.
  7. Hardware store or auto parts store. The ap store has package with multiple sizes and I know one fits I just can't remember which one it is.
  8. I know a few people that need to hear that. There is so much wisdom in that statement
  9. Well......she not exactly near my age. She is 23. I don't know when she had her last eye exam and she doesn't have any type of corrective lenses. I will suggest there doctor......but she can be hard headed at times ). I'm just saying...... Are there any suggestions other than amber lenses?
  10. My gf has a really hard time driving at night. Lights are blinding and she gets headaches. I'm looking for suggestions on night time lenses. I don't mind spending some money for them. She has tried cheap yellow lenses but that made it worse on her headache but the lights were not so blinding. I'm looking forward to advise.
  11. Someone needs to come up with magnetic sheets to put on the ceiling to catch our flying pins and springs.
  12. Try and get a better pic with a contrasting background and better focus. It's hard to see detail on brass with a yellow back drop
  13. I had to tell my daughters that their great grandpa (their mom's side) passed away. I hate to see them hurting. It's hard to tell them that time will heal. Side note. I havnt had anything to do with the mom or that side of the family in 15yrs.
  14. Truspec 24/7 here. I took a nasty bite from a German Shepherd that should have taken a chunk of meat. Hardly broke the skin, didn't damage my pants but it hurt like hell. The ones with rip stop are much more durable than the all cotton version.
  15. When dealing with businesses, it seems that 99% of the time you have to leave a message and wait for them to contact you. At time that can be DAYS......if ever. When I get customer service like this, I will seldom look elsewhere.
  16. I submitted my build sheet On the 19th. I got a reply email ont the 21st AND a (missed) call from Brandon the same day. WOW!!!!! That is fast service. However I think the best thing about it is I called him this morning and he had the time to take my call and chat with me about my build giving his suggestions and advise. I am VERY impressed! Lets back in time a little...... I decided a couple of months ago that I was going to get me a nice 2011. I thought about an STI Eagle. They are very nice and popular guns but I wanted something a little more custom. I posted a want add here with my desires and possible time frame. Someone emailed me with an offer. I was so excited about the deal because it was (nearly)what I wanted. Then without asking first, he sold it locally. That put me back at square one. Talking with a close friend about the botched deal and looking at my options I decided to go to the TOP. Im getting an INFINITY. I have wanted one since the first time saw one. Why get something else if its really not going to be what you want? Anyway, Im cery excited about starting my order. Im going by thier shop today for a tour and will be placing my deposit next week. Now comes the worst part about it. The LONG and PAINFUL 12 month WAIT. I know it will be well worth it when it over.
  17. You can also just use a small set of needle nose plyers
  18. I now toss them too. It's not worth the jam on the press. I'm currently using cci primers. When I used magtec or fiocci primers I didn't have nearly as many problems due to the primers being softer than cci. Your fed primers are why you dint much problems. But be CAREFUL. They are very soft and have been known to cause press parts to literally go ballistic.
  19. I would start with, in small amounts, taking out some of your adjustments until it works reliably. I may be wrong but I don't think changing your springs will help at all.
  20. They decide to sell it WITHOUT talking to YOU first. He replied to a Want I had posted... I had confirmed that I was buying a nice pistol. It was a lot of money and was going to take me a few weeks to get my funds together and he knew this when he made the offer to me. I reminded him of that and it was clearly stated in my want add. His response was " its ok, I'm in no rush". Fast forward 2 weeks to this morning. I sent him an email just to communicate my current progress. His reply was.... "Oh.... I'm sorry but I sold the gun a couple days ago". I WAS PISSED!!!!!! I've sold guns and worked extra days to get my money together to get this gun and he can't even have the common courtesy to send me an email to give me chance to reclaim or back out of the deal. What has happened to "A MAN'S WORD" Well, as I always say......EVERYTHING happens for a reason. I will keep putting my $$ together and find another deal.
  21. Just over 2yrs ago we lost my dad to sudden heart attack. He was only 54. That night, my mom, lil sis and I were sitting in his art room in dis-belief. I noticed a small clay vase of his that sat on his art table. Looking in it I see that it was full of business cards. I reached in and pulled a random card out....it just happened to be one of his old personal cards. I flipped it over and on the he had written .... "A good life is never to short" It was a helluva time to find that card. I'm not sure if it was his personal quote or if had heard it somewhere, but we needed that at the time and it is on par with his way if thinking. rwhedgeart.com
  22. Wow. I was about to post the same problem with my .135 loads.
  23. My gf was hired as a dispatcher at the towing company I was working for. I literally lost my breath the first time I laid eyes on her. Nothing was talked about until 3mo later when she called my personal phone to chat. When I answered she got nervous and hung up on me. She called me back several hrs later. We have been together ever since. That was nearly 2yrs ago. We waited 6mo to move in together. I'm 12 years older than her. She is an awesome woman I thank God daily for her. I'm currently looking for THE ring. I would like to add that she had little knowledge of guns but now has her own revolver, an AR I built for her and she is getting her chl. She has never complained about gun related purchases. It will be hard to forget her bday....July 4th.
  24. NICE....If its not to much trouble I would also like to see a pic of the grip safety area as well. Im curious about the new look.
