  1. My G43X was cut for the Holosun 407k x2- has had 2k rounds through it- no issues.

My G48 MOS-has the same dot with a CH plate- so far- with 500 rounds through it

its still good to go- it will have more use in the next few months with training-

Really? it’s 130PF in the G48 and it won’t run? Or it’s 130PF in some other gun?

My wife G48 handles my PCC loads just fine. And it’s averaging like 106 PF. I was honestly shocked… just happened to throw it in the chrono because it was there that day.

Did not say it would not run- just looking for an option.

  3.  I shoot reloads only- PF 130- looking to replace the recoil rod and spring

to something around 15 pounds- stock set up is a little strong for a 130 PF

Any one change out these parts yet?

Upgrading holosun from 507 to 507 acss Vulcan. Point being screwheads should not strip so easily.

Install on the plate calls for certain torque, and with the holosun design, the chps provided torque heads don't fit straight down.

AND- I have called and emailed them- NO response- the provided screws are to long- have a terrible head designed

compared to the factory flat head designed,  so how long and what thread for the Glock 48 MOS slide? with their plate?

My other slides are milled direct- but just had to try the G48 MOS- with some regrets now because of screw length.

I know this has probably been discussed in the past but I couldn't find it. Is the Talon grip tape good stuff? Is there something better? Rubber type or grit? It is for a Glock 17 for competition.

    Thanks

Are you using a shock buffer on the guiderod?  If you are, toss it.  Maybe try a lighter recoil spring?

I have thousands in my S2 OR- with the buffer.

Well, to state the obvious, everyone here is also looking for primers.  Assuming they find some, what do you think the chances are they're going to pass on the opportunity and offer them to someone who just made your first post here?  I'd guess the odds are pretty much zero.  On a positive note, at the rate you're going your post count should enable you to try a WTB ad in the classifieds pretty soon.

The only only time my gas plug fell out was when it wasn’t installed properly. I didn’t make sure it “clicked” into place when I rotated it during installation.

Good thing it fell out when I was checking the zero since I just cleaned it. It fell out of the ejection port after I had shot about 15 rounds.

Remember last summer at SAPSA?  I installed the gas plug but never turned it into battery, wife had interrupted me!!

We had to put new gas rings on it- lost that stage- but not the match!!
