Placed an order on the 17th, still no word. Phones don't work and no email response. Been also waiting over two months on powder valley. I'm no hoarder and dont plan on being one. The waiting game begins. Until such, I'll start looking at new hobbies.

Spirit is fine for domestic. They will not transport internationally.

After this happening twice I think I would consider gettting an auto indexing press

I used to build imports. 10 years ago I had an All Wheel Drive Mitsubishi running in the 10's. I now cruise around in a tweaked BMW 335i twin turbo.

Rory, i've been trying to tell everyone, it just takes some tinkering, just like my race car.
If you save a few bucks on one hobby, you have a few bucks for another hobby.
Grumpy, I'm also into race cars. Have to balance the spending between the two. Plus if your into racing, your automatically a tinkerer.

I am sure if you post a WTB in the classifieds you could buy one for half price. I was also frustrated with my hornady bullet feeder and had stopped using it because of noise and reliability. Over the holidays I had some free time on my hands (haven't shot since nationals) and figured I would redesign the feeder, since I already have it, and try to make it better. Well, I am happy to say that I am impressed with the final product. With a little precise tweaking I have it dropping consistently and I have also installed a switch to shut it off when full. The noise was surprisingly reduced due to the fact that the switch was shutting off so you would not be sitting there listening to bullets fall. My setup loads 9 and 40 consistently. Re-engineering time spent= a lot, parts=$6, and a little mill time for the dies. Now that I know what it takes I could probably set one up in an hour.

I shoot with Remoandiris and get 30rounds reloadable in 1 old style SVI and 2 new style SVI mags. All three mags run reliably with 30+1 and I only change springs once a year.

OK so I got a ? here (may cause some stuff I'm sorry if it does)
When is a COF over - when the RO says "Range is Clear" correct?
How many people at the ULSC stick the mag in their front pocket.
IN THEORY - SHOULDN'T this be a bump to open? Mag is in front of hip bone - course of fire is underway until the RO says "Range is Clear"?
Already answered by USPSA:
http://www.USPSA.org/uspsa-NROI-ruling-details.php?indx=51
"Production and Single Stack equipment locations are NOT intended to complicate loading before the start signal or unloading. (e.g. – a magazine may be retrieved from a front pocket to facilitate loading before the start signal or while unloading at the end of a COF without penalty)."
looking at this rule, what if ( and i have seen many shooters do this) at the end of the COF the shooter removes the mag, insert said mag in front pocket, looks up and realize he has a MIKE on target and proceed to fire the chambered round.
Just started shooting production and actually think its a fun division but i think i'll be heading back to LIMITED and OPEN. Too many IDPA type rules.

You might want to take apart the die and check the collets. The last time I had this problem my "A" collet was split in half. Hornady sent me a new one under warranty.

I just can't help thinking our late friend Venry would have had a field day with these changes.

You should seat to the OAL that functions best in your gun with that bullet - then adjust your load to deal with velocity and pressure from there.
I load to 1.235, and have for a really long time Seems to run in basically every gun out there, so...

All the Open shooters in Jamaica shoot win9x23 in their guns. When they come here to the States they shoot 38supercomp without changing anything. The guns run flawless with either and i shoot both thru my SV IMM.

Keller, ive personally found the Federal SR to be the best in my open rounds (both 9major and 38SC) . In 9major i can actually feel a difference compared to winSP or CCI SR. I shoot every and anything in regular matches and save my FedSR for majors.

Definitely "IN". Smitty, you're making me want to dust off the limit gun for this...........................Nah, see you there in open.

Best match I have ever been to in every way!

I'm sure if he wants he could have it again this weekend at half price and still get 100+ shooters. I know I'd be there.

He makes one specifically for the STI frame and will install if you ship it to him. If you want the signature grip, you will have to get new grip safety. The BEST thing to do is call him.

I Have access to one running at 1200 with 7.3grn autocomp or 8grn silhouette. No spillage. I think the key is in the machine setup. All factory parts on the 1050.
