  1. I had the same issue. I detoxed from coffee, went back to coffee but only drank half as much. Also, piracetam works.
  2. TDSA Len Baxley he is my gun sensei AWESOME!
  3. I recently bought the PACT Club Timer III. It's simple, easy to use and I think it works great.
  4. I just got a Pact III Club Timer. The instructions are pretty basic. Tomorrow I plan to time myself at the outdoor range. I want to understand my total time as well as what my split times are. Can someone please give me a brief tutorial on using this timer? What buttons do i press for what/when? Thanks.
  5. I really appreciate that you took the time to post these notes. I took the basic armorer class earlier this year and I understand I have to wait three years until I can take the advanced course you just came out of. Sounds well worth it.
  6. Well, who trains the most elite forces? Answer: Competitive shooters Why: Because they shoot the best
  7. I've seen good competitive shooters maintain their support hand's thumb pressed against the frame. Some shooters even have skateboard tape in that location so that the support hand thumb does not slip off during muzzle flip. Brian Enos in his book says: "Both thumbs are pointed at the target, but neither touches the gun. Doing so can steer the muzzle" Which style do you prefer and why?
  8. who could do a good job of installing the sevigny sights?
  9. I think i will change the sights. Looking into warren/sevigny. I will not touch the slide stop. I do not believe in tinkering w/the inner components so that stays the way it is.
  10. for the G17, along with an extended mag release, sandpaper, what else do you recommend to do? -recommend good sights -extended slide stop lever?
  11. based on all your feedback, i will be going with the CED7000. Now if i shoot by myself, which accessories do i need in order to help me time myself?
  12. What accesories would you get with that CED7000 and why?
  13. Let's say you are timing yourself, in this case, which one does better?
  14. What would the pros/cons be of these two products? I want to know which on is right for me.
  15. Sheep, that looks perfect. Did you sand it while it was on your gun?
  16. I installed an extended magazine release on my G17 and the sharp corners dig into my palm when i shoot. Has anyone here rounded the corners off? With what?
  17. well then i can't relate. I am cross eyed dominant as well and all i do is aim with the dominant eye and shoot. I don't see two of anything and i shoot accurately.
  18. Yes, same problem here. I've been trying to train my brain to use my right eye. I use a small piece of tape on my left eye and still find myself closing my left eye on long range shots. Why would you want to force something that is not natural? As far as I know, cross eyed dominance for right handed pistol shooters is a gift. Your brain that processes the shooting on that half of the brain helps you out more.
  19. i just bought Brian's Book and the surgical shooting. Thanks guys!
  20. What is the best 'first' shooting book to get?
  21. Then again, from what I understand, David Sevigny is a right hand shooter and left eye dominant and he shoots distance out of his left eye. So there is hope.
  22. i think i should stop being cock-eyed and learn to shoot with my right eye
  23. Yesterday I went to the range and I shot thirty rounds at 12yards on one target using my right eye and thirty rounds on another target using only my left eye. I used a Glock26 (subcompact 9mm). I am a right handed shooter and my left eye is dominant. I was shooting in a slightly modified weaver stance. Check these targets out. In which direction should I focus on? Left Eye Right Eye
  24. I am right handed with a master left eye. Anyone else like me? Is this an issue? I tend to shoot best with a weaver-like stance.
