  1. So I am guessing you got it from czub not us? That's correct.
  2. The barrel is cz original extended version from the factory. The compensator is my own design.
  3. Interesting project. If you are planing a 90degree mount I can support you on a good solution. My mount is actually an aluminium plate fitted over the c-more battery tray, connected to the frame. Send me a PM if you want a drawing.
  4. Update season 2013 During this year I have tested my new compensator. It's far more effective than the original Czechmate I have tested. This TS have been my companion for more than 80 000 rounds, still going strong. ...I paint my gun every ear. That's why it look's new .
  5. CZ CzechMate and Whitness/Tanfoglio are functional with both major and minor factor ammunition. You can use factory 9mm ammo. I use the same recoil spring for both minor and major loads.
  6. I use what ever is left in the can as I have filled up the engine Our cars are our most expensive piece of crap. There fore we have to use very well produced oils to make them last. The oil we use in our engines are probably best quality oil we can get.

    CZ TS DURABILITY?

Buffer + lighter recoil spring Why not? The fact is that most CZ's pistols are a little over sprung. This is the actual cause of breaking the slide stop pin. Not the force by the slide moving backwards. I have tested spring loads between 20-8lbs. My choice happens to be the factory spring load. I want the sight to raise in recoil and land at the exact same spot. I make my testing on several occasions. Firing about 400 rounds with the spring load I like to test. The 10lbs spring tend to break the buffer in pieces after those 400 rounds. I use 14lbs recoil plus 15lbs hammer spring in Limited. 10lbs+15lbs in my open gun. A little advice for new guns: Make sure your slide is moving without effort. Brake the edge of the slide where it pushes the rounds from the magazine into the chamber. This edge may cause drag as the slide moves back during recoil. The edge is dragging over the bullet and case of the next round waiting to be feed into the chamber.

    CZ TS DURABILITY?

Durability: I have one 9mm build as an open gun. Fired +80000rounds still going strong. Stick to stock springs and keep the original type buffer in place. 40SW barrels tend to crack after about 20000rounds or so. CZ barrels are easy to install and fairly cheap. A friend of mine have a 40SW fired +120 000rounds +3barrels, happy man with a good gun. Last week I visited the range. Did a test group at a 50 yard distance=10 shot 2 inches. Not bad for an 80 000 rounder 9mm open gun.
  9. Nice! I have once mounted an Aimpoint micro on the right hand side. This allows the support hand closer to the line of bore. Now mount interference with the thumb. Keep up the good work! DVC
  10. As follows: 1 trigger returnspring 1 slidestop 1 extractor Anything else is overkill. I have a TS. Change slidestop every year. New recoilspring once a year. Nothing is broken, 80 000 rounds still going strong. DVC
  11. The mount will be made in aluminium. And the small screws holding the lids in place will be send to the fjords. The two bigger holes on ether side of the battery will be drilled to desired dimension. Why not buy a mount like Quinn? -It won't fit the CZ, it's made for 2011. Why not buy a mound made for Tanfoglio? -It won't fit the CZ, the CZ has a wider gripframe. The Czechmate has no other option than the original CZ mount (upright C-more). This is why I'm interested in constructing my own sideway mount. Of course the mount will be trimmed down to be more light weight.
  12. A few years ago I saw a sideway mount attaching the scope by the extra large holes under the battery lid. The mount was for 2011-series. The mount disappeared before today's popular mounts hit the market. You need to dismount the sight from the mount to change battery. -Was this the only reason why the mount disappeared? I have made myself a prototype. Before I ruin my C-more I want to now if there are any risk with this solution. The mount is built for CZ Tactical Sports and will be easy to fit on a Czechmate. 13. I'm running a custom made TS open division of my own design. I use a welded long stick. The magazine carries 25 rounds and works flawlessly. The magazine length is 160mm and I use the original mag spring. The idea of using a 160mm mag and 25 rounds is the fact that it will be more reliable than a maximum length mag. Your magazine is probably defect and should be replaced. One intresting question: what happens when the gun jam's?

    Czechmate

Lucky you in The United States of America Add 1500US dollars and you can buy one from Sweden. I don't understand the loss of value across the sea. -The gun is build in Europe and is far more expensive over here.
  15. Awesome! CZ is the winning solution. I'd love to have a smith with that level of skill available. Well, thank you. As you know there is always another side on a coin. Left hand wiew: show's the thumbrest and the single sided scope mount. The supporting hand get a very close grip to the line of bore. The gun is fitted with a new compensator. Planning on opening the last port on both sides. As I said before; the gun runs perfectly. It doesn't shoot completely flat, but it works
  16. Hi CZ Tactical sports was made in caliber 375sig. I don't know if it's still on the market but the gun might be the choice for you. DVC Mattias
  17. Mattias, that gun is plain gorgeous. Your grips tell me you live in a moderate to cold climate. What caliber is it? The grip: this is the photograf set up= no grip tape. I use black skateboard tape, alwalys. But, yes, Sweden isn't the warmest place on earth. The gun is caliber 9mm. The gun has a compensator, only. -No hybrid or holes in the barrel. The gun is 100% functional, no joke. The dot jumps a little and I'm experementing with compdesign to get the most out of the system. The comp is stainless steel, if I make a titanium comp I might consider hybrid holes in the barrel. The barrel is quite thin and might not last if additional holes are made. My slide racker is a "table top" rest. -Nothing else... DVC
  18. Hi Folks I have actually shown this gun before. Now the gun is finished and actually already a winner of a level 2 match earlier today. DVC Mattias
  19. I have recently made a new compensator for my IPSC-open pistol. To make it fit I had ot shorten the barrel slightly. Now I need to recrown my barrel. My question is; -Does the crown of the barrel affect the way my compensator will preform? Will a deeper/wider crowning spread the gases so it will hit the front of the ports in a more effective way?
  20. Safeties from Angus Hobdell USA: http://czcustom.com/cztsextendedambisafetylhs.aspx The safety on the picture is the original one. The extended safety bought from Angus is placed on the left hand side of the gun. DVC
  21. This is my CZ open project. TS 9mm with Aimpoint sight and custom made mount, comp, grip and magwell. DVC Mattias
  22. Slide racker / scope mount My solution of the problem. The Scope mount is my own design. It's mounted on the right hand side of the frame. This allows the slide to be removed without removing the slide racker. It also let you grip the gun with your supporting hand very close to the line of bore. DVC Mattias
  23. Hi folks The scope mount and the thumb rest are my own designs made in a cnc-mill. The idea of having the scope mounted in the right hand side is to get a better grip with the supporting hand on the left side. -It works verry well. There is a mount from double alpha academy made in a similar way. The Aimpoint is verry plessant to use, there is no problem ejecting brass from the gun... By the way, the comps are my desing as well. I don't know how they will work but it's a good start. DVC
  24. CZ 75 Tactical Sports This gun is under construction. Barrel is on the way... I will take some more pictures when ready.
