  1. Looks great! Question about the finish. Did the cerakote the frame/slide rails & lugs? Any issues with fit and the thickness of the cerakote?
  2. I found 4 1lbr's at a local shop. I haven't been there in close to a year, and remember seeing them there at that time. Manufacture date if Jan 2013. Not a common powder around here. From what I've read they might be some of that last ones on the shelves in the US.
  3. Looks like I'll end up going this route. Still want to let Glock know about my problems. I wanted the Gen 4 for the better grip feel and mag release. Wish they would have left the recoil system alone, and I bet they feel the same way. I'm also really glad I picked up the gun at the last local gun show. Wonder if Glocks are being bought up like AR's?
  4. Still haven't heard back from glock. Email not a good way to contact them?
  5. It'll sit for now. When it hangs up, I can pull the trigger, and the slide will still float that amount. Would assume that's because the recoil spring is hung up. Bummer on a new gun.
  6. My new Glock 35 isn't returning to battery. Happens loaded, and unloaded. Letting the slide slam forward and even when firing, left the range once I saw this. It hangs up on he last 1/8" or so, I can push the slide forward and but will spring back. If I slighly push down on the slide I will hear a click and it will return the last bit on it's own. Thought this was an issue a little break in would take care of but not the case. Field stripped last night and the recoil spring assembly was cocked on the front collar and hung up on it's self. Makes sence to me their may be an issue with the assembly. If it's getting hung up it doesn't have enough umf to return the slide fully to battery. Emailed Glock, probibly won't hear from them till next week. Any one else have this problem? My theory make sence? Or doesn't it just need more rounds down range to break all moving parts in?
  7. I like the bullnose on the 34 and 35, put that on all the models. 45 acp competition model Boar type adj rear sight. No price increases.......
  8. Some companies just don't understand customer service. They act like they are the only game in town. Good to see Charlie Vanek gets it!
  9. Haven't chrono'd it yet but 4.0gr of Vit N320 cycles stock glock fine.
  10. Make sure the left leg of the sear spring isn't dragging on the frame. It's the leg that contacts the sear.
  11. Are those current prices? I know his website is out of date and in the process of being redone. I have bought several cases from Donnie this year in multiple calibers and I paid $95 for 200's and $105 for 230's + shipping. Greg I just got some 230's and they were $91/1000 and some 147's and the were $67. He recently quoted me $105 for 230gr's
  12. 11k, I wish I lived close to a manufacture, I'd do the same. Had a chance this spring, was at a local match and the owner of SNS was their making a delivery. Didn't know he was their at the time, but I would have taken all the 230gr ball he had off of his hands. No shipping pains to deal with, I think my mail man goes on short term disability when I get an order.
  13. Load 45 and 40, on 550 with lee dies, + FCD. I have same problem with cycling hard some times with 45. It seems to be the brass that is causing the issue in my case. Some of my brass is getting old, maybe getting hard?? Some brass cycles like butter but some doesn't, sort it all by headstamp. On 40 I'm using all once fired brass, and so far it all cycles like butter.
  14. Does anyone know if ETM's will work with the SP magwell?
  15. $30/k here at Scheels. Decent selection.
  16. I bought a 4lb jug n320. What bullet and charge do you use? 4.4gr of N320, 230gr lrn, 1.250 oal.
  17. Thanks that was what I was looking for.
  18. Would this gun be legal for production? A G21 with the slide milled for a bomar type rear sight. Would the fact that the stock config is physically altered make it not legal for the division?
  19. I'm considering shooting a G21 in production as well, good info here. I shoot in SS right now, could get a G35 or G34, but I'm heavily invested on reloading 45's. Switching calibers and restarting the stocking proscess makes my wallet hurt thinking about it. It would be fun making big holes in production!
  20. Nice camera work! Great stage design aswell, was that a local match?
  21. I try to break down the stage to reload when I'm transitioning from one aray to another. Alot of time it means dumping mags are 4 or 6 shots.
  22. Nice looking setup. How far from Cedar Rapids IA is that match?
  23. Here's some more. It was alot of fun, just wish I would have shot better! http://www.youtube.com/user/skmann40#p/u/12/VjNIfML3TCQ Sorry fixed link.
