Has anyone tried the Marine Spacer Tube for there 930's? Supposed to help with the short stroking issues. I just replaced and polished my carrier latch and replaced my recoil spring plunger, which fixed the issues I was having. I went ahead and picked one the the spacers up just in case.
Looks good and it seems like an improvement on the stock item, BUT its twice the cost I would be willing to pay when I don't have any issues with the lightest loads I have (1 1/8 oz at 1145).
Not sure if its intentional or not, but the rusting shown in the video should not occur in the JM, AFAIK, as the mag tube is either SS or nickel/chrome plated. Can see the rusting occurring on a non JM 930, but the video describes issues with the JM.

Is info about length and weight available?

Sounds like it's not quite ready for the market, so specs are subjet to change, hence they are not being revealed.
Even Cmore's web site had no mention of this scope as of a few days ago.

can you post a post a photo or preferably a video of how you pull the deuces out of the carrier? having a hard time seeing a curl as palm is facing inward. thanks.

True enough.
Thanks

Mossberg is obviously at fault here, making a shotgun that requires the owner to clean and lube on rare ocassion. Not.

Has anyone tried to squeeze an SLR Rifleworks Clamp on Adjustable Gas Block inside a Samson Evolution Handguard?
Yes, it worked fine. Had the Ranier Arms version of Samson Evo, which I think has almost identical dimensions as yours. No interference between SLR and handguard, but the flexing due to the mickey mouse attachment system bothered me, so went to the Ranier Arms Force handguard. NO movement and its lighter than the Evo.

Those slugs are great. Pretty accurate, and low recoil. Of course, your SG has to function with them. They run great in my JM930, but it seems the recoil operation of the 3K needs a heavier or faster slug.
Not a criticism of the 3K, just the nature of the beast.

Patrick,
Do you think anything is gained by using this: http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/rifle-tools/barrel-tools/ar-15-m16-308-ar-barrel-extension-torque-tools-prod27452.aspx
I attach a 1/2" breaker bar to the end, place breaker bar in a vise so this tool and upper are horizontal. Works on all uppers and no fear of tweaking upper. Useful for replacing muzzle devices as well as barrels.

Looks like its ready for prime time.
A bit expensive, but considering its machined from quality aluminum and hard coat anodized, rather than polymer, not unexpected.

A local true value hardware store probably has a small enough hitch pin to work just fine. Might need to be trimmed for length as did mine.

Checked and sure enough, tubes were not concentric. Not surprised as the follower stops at the junction, then continues after a short pause. I beveled the forward end of the fixed mag tube, with no improvement. After checking today, I took the Nordic factory extension and ground off around a 1/16" from the end screwed into the nut, thinking that long bevel on the inside of the section inside the nut would allow a shell rim to go off center and hang up. I tested the problem before the modification to the tube with a shotgun cleaning rod minus any attachment, and the end of the rod would hang up on the protruding part of the tube that acted like a shelf. After the mod, the cleaning rod had a harder time finding a shelf to hang up on. Not perfect but definitely better. No doubt Tom is on to something and I would be interested in a concentric nut at a reasonable price. More for insurance than to fix a malfunction.

Any plans for production and what will the damage be?

Which muzzle device are you running?

Pretry sure I saw the Explorer bag mentioned in the post preceeding this one on Amazon.
am pleased with the 52" Midway I got after reading this thread.

Not to mention a short fore end with no way to change that I'm aware of. I thought they operated on the same inertia system and similar weight of an M2, why would there be less recoil?
Believe Vinci is gas operated, hence lower recoil.

Planning on calling them Monday, as I had this in mind as well. They mention 930 synthetics on the web site, model 10201 I believe. I cut out the template but have not compared it to the factory pad. Concern over screw holes spacing being same as stock.
They have a newer style, which incorporates what looks like air pockets, # 10809 I think. Not sure if that is better in actual uset than the traditional version.

I use the Midway bag, 56" model. Been using it about 10 months. I can fit my Beretta 1301 with a Nordic +7 in it, plus my AR and I put my 2011 in a gun rug zipped in the side pouch. The bag has padded shoulder straps, so you can hump this bag on your back if you need to walk between stages. They are on sale right now too:
Thanks for the heads up!
Just ordered the 52" model. Great price, and I like the multiple attachment points for the Velcro straps inside.

The original pin is made of a very thin.stock, so goes on and off pretty easily. Found one next size up, thicker wire stock, trimmed it a bit shorter and its much less likely to fall out. Cheap insurance.

Checking this one out http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GQWG9EC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=I308RKTJ5EN9&coliid=IACEDRFYKXXIK
Reviews are good for the most part, except from people who think a 3 gun case should hold 3 long guns...
May not be long enough for your needs.

SLR sentry 7 for me.
Yeah, helps to have a longer than stock Allen wrench, available from SLR or Amazon for a little less.
-
Easier to cycle possibly due to either to smoother surface or change in angle where new hammer contacts back of bolt. Doubt new hammer spring is weaker than one that is being replaced.
-
Have done that mod, plus changed the shape of the vertical inside edge of shell stop from straight to a curve, mimicing the curve of a shell rim, so the shell is released more easily.

Got the Ranier Arms Force installed on the MUR-1A upper, after RA told me to remove the offending metal from the handguard. Took a few passes with a Dremel and a cutting bit, about 10 thou per side.
Handguard is rock solid, no deflection at all at front end even when pushed hard to either side. Am pleased with feel and rigidity.
They make a 15" as well, 12 oz with barrel nut. Price appears to be lower than most of the competition.
Rifle recoil tracks to the right.

Would like to learn your technique, co-exprs. Can you please give specifics?
Was thinking of clocking the brake, but then I would accentuate the issue shooting off side.
Thanks, Mark.
