so i bought my mossberg 590 and i love the gun to death, however i am starting to realize i could use a choke for use in 3 gun what are my options to choke my barrel down as it is not threaded as of now

The upper you where talking about at the top of the page comes with a bolt and carrier already headspaced. So I wouldnt worry abou it. I would also keep all my uppers as complete as possible so when changing them it is a quick process of 2 push pins and swap, not having to worry about changing BC and charging handle. Tube options are plenty. VTAC/JP makes 1 as does all the other float ube mfg's. or you could by a Briley carbon fibre rifle length and cut it down to midlength. they are a good value for the dollar. well i was thinking i could save the extra 100 dollars(and right now im a college shooter ) would you say its that necessary? also is the free float tube somehting im better off getting with some time, or something i should try to get right off the bat?

thanks for thew info , the whole idea behing getting a new barrel for me is the fact that my current setup dosent allow me to run an optic without spoiling my "match"setup i figure i can get another upper and have two setups so if i may ask two more questions, will it be most likely that my dcm bolt will headspace with the deltron upper or is that a tossup? also what are my options for mid length rails or tubes thanks for the info guys

so i have shot my first 3 gun using my bushmaster dcm comp, and im thinking i need a slightly shorter barrel, i have found a midlength upper made by del tron and it is cheap, comming in at 425 with bcg and a front flip up sight i got a couple questions, 1 is this a reputable and high quality upper? 2. do i need the extra bolt or should i just use the one from my dcm 3. how hard are mid length free loat tubes running? link http://www.del-ton.com/Del_Ton_AR_15_Barre...ly_p/dt2001.htm thanks guys
